Restaurants, bars and pubs can be found all around the city, with large concentrations in Sachsenhausen, Nordend, Bornheim and Bockenheim.

4 Practical Information We will pick you up from airport and bring you to the hotel. You will stay at the Best Western Plaza Hotel Frankfurt (Address: Esslinger Straße 8) near the Main River in the middle of the city. From here we will start our tour across the city. We organize a Welcome Dinner at the 12 Apostel Restaurant in Frankfurt. They are famous for their own brewed beer. The menue, including two 0,4l drinks which costs about 20 EUR p. P. To show you the local traditional kitchen, we would like to welcome you in the Apfelweinstube Wagner in Frankfurt Sachsenhausen. The region around Frankfurt is quite popular for their Äppler - Wine made from apples. We will have a classic Hesse Menu, including two 0,4l drinks which costs about 20 EUR p. P. Discover the great atmosphere in the new Sport center of the Bundesliga Team Eintracht Frankfurt in the Diva Restaurant where we will have a menu, including two 0,4l drinks which costs about 25 EUR p. P. We have selected the program to give you an impression of the German culture and to show you interesting sigths of Frankfurt. You will have enough opportunity for networking with the other participants. If you are not able to participate at the designated programe, please be so kind and send us a short message until Friday, 17th February so we can inform the restaurant. Accommodation, meals and domestic travels during the meeting are covered individually by participants. Please, after the dinner collect the money for your consumption and give it to the KWVD employee so that he can pay the total bill amount and avoid difficulties in the restaurant. If you rather do not want to carry so much money for your whole group, then you can also transfer money into the KWVD account later. During your stay the KWVD will also arrange a city sightseeing to show you the interesting places and attractions. The highlight of the tour is a trip with the Apfelwein Express. The historic tram passes many of Frankfurts attractions. We will travel by Metro and Bus during your stay in Germany. The travelling expenses will be about 20 EUR per Person. We will have several coffee breaks as well as lunches on Monday and Tuesday. The KWVD welcomes you to join us for free lunch on Monday and Tuesday, coffee breaks and Apfelwein Express Weather You should come prepared for relativly mild temperatures (approx. 5 C at daytime) and mostly dry conditions ( Objectives The objectives of the meeting are; To explore the possibilities offered by the Lifelong Learning Program and the spirit of it (mutual understanding, respect, tolerance, dialogue, active citizenship..) To underline the importance of non-formal education at lifelong learning projects, To discover the differences and similarities of different cultures (traditions, religions, beliefs and way of living... ), To support the intercultural exchange between participants,
