6 World Environment Day At ITC Maurya 5 th June 2015

7 Celebrations at ITC Maurya The World Environment Day, 5 th June 2015, was celebrated at ITC Maurya with a host of activities: The day started with a green walk and sapling plantation at Dhaula Kuan, along the Delhi Ridge. 60 associates were a part of the walk along with the General Manager - Mr. Zubin Songadwala and the Chief Guest for the occasion - Mr. Subhash Chandra, DIG Forests, Ministry of Environment Delhi. 250 saplings were planted and 150 saplings were distributed to the associates and vendors of ITC Maurya. 20 saplings were presented to guests and a Bonsai kit was also presented to the chief guest. To bring the Green Message to the in-house guests, flower arrangements in public areas of the hotel were based on the green theme. The cafeteria also celebrated the green theme with a special menu based on green vegetables and ingredients. Display of environment protection slogan in public areas.

10 WelcomHotel Rama International, Aurangabad celebrated The World Environment Day on 5 th June 2015 with various activities. A Green island was created in the Hotel Lobby and saplings were planted by the Managers and staff in the hotel premises. The slogans on Green Environemnt were displayed in the LCD placed in the hotel lobby Saplings were distributed to inhouse guests. A Green March was arranged wherein the associates of the hotel wearing Green T shirts took a round of surrounding areas of the hotel. The associates carried placards and banners displaying slogans of protection of environment. The objective of the march was to create awareness amongst the mass to come forward & help the humankind conserve the environment.
