1 NATHALIE DECOSTER Nathalie Decoster is a French artist born in In France, major expositions include 9 monumental sculptures on the Champs Elysées in Paris in 2009, 2 permanent monumental sculptures at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport as well as in the lobby of the Mandarin Oriental in Paris for instance. She also acquired the title of global artist thanks to the numerous exhibitions of her work around the world. Nathalie Decoster s sculptures can indeed be seen at the Museum of Modern Art of Sao Paulo in Brazil, in the city of Shanghai in China or at Como Lac in Italy for instance. Nathalie Decoster is also famous for her several collaborations with reknown actors such as watchmaker Jaeger Lecoultre, Louis Vuitton, Chinese artist..., or even EDHEC Business School. As a sculptor, her work usually portrays characters in geometrical shapes made of bronze. She delivers messages on human condition, the relationship between mankind and time as well as its fragilities. Her most famous and recognized piece is an asexual character walking in a circle. Sometimes with a humoristic touch, she makes her public aware of the small absurdities of human s life and shows the path to serenity.
