3 Assessment - September 2014 The 4 th edition of PARIS DESIGN WEEK (September 2014) will stay one of the most successful, accomplished and mobilising from both the participants side and the visitors side. The figures speak for themselves, an important presence of international creators in now! le Off, consequence of ongoing work in France and all around the world by the PARIS DESIGN WEEK staff in relation with schools, institutions, foundations, training institutions now! le Off at the Cité de la mode et du design 3

7 now! le Off For 5 years, in the wake of now! design à vivre, the MAISON & OBJET show supports the creation by presenting now! le Off during PARIS DESIGN WEEK. 7

8 now! le Off Epicenter of PARIS DESIGN WEEK and meeting point of emerging artists, now! le Off gathers more than 100 artists from around the world. At that session again, now! le Off wowed the crowds at the Cité de la mode et du design. 8

9 now! le Off More than 17,000 visitors came to see the projects presented by young design talents, emerging publishers, collectives and schools, including many were free to publishing, 4,200 people attended the official evening organized at the exhibition s heart. 9

13 The event s vocation The exceptionally rich program planned out last September highlighted the implication of the different actors of the PARIS DESIGN WEEK and brought to light a range of new and exciting products. This event has mobilised more than 100,000 professionals and design amateurs and has the ambition to offer Parisian and International participants a platform of expression and business at the image of Paris, among the most important creative cities. 14 The event s vocation Organised in synergy with MAISON&OBJET, PARIS DESIGN WEEK leans on the presence of a large number of French and International visitors and journalists in Paris. PARIS DESIGN WEEK remains an ideal time for participants to launch their new products and prepare the Autumn/Winter season. It answers a strong expectation of the public, curious in September to discover the new collections. 14
