You'll be able to check in, and depending on your arrival time, the room may be ready for you. If your plane lands in the morning, the room may not be ready yet, but you'll get a chance to leave your luggage at the hotel so you can start your discovery of Paris. You'll go through the entrance skipping the line (not the security lines, though). You tour ends here, so you can take in all the time you want at the Iron Lady. Most people stay between 1.5 and 2 hours. Please note that you ticket inlcudes ticket to the 2nd floor, but you can purchase the ticket for the top floor on the spot (it costs about 3 euros/person) and the lines are very short. 6 Page 6 of 16 DAY 2 Louvre visit on your own Take your hop on and Hop Off bus and go to the 1st stop on the green line to board your bus. Enjoy the English commentary as you get to the Louvre Museum. Stop at number 4. From here you will go get your skip-the-line Louvre entry tickets at a kiosk near the Louvre Pyramid. With your tickets in had it's time to visit the Louvre Museum. Most visits take between 3 and 4 hours. Take the Blue line, but going in the opposite direction: you will now make your way back to the Opera (where you started). Change for the Yellow line at Station Opera (number 2 on the Blue Line). You are going to take the Yellow Line to go to station

Once at the top of Montmartre, enjoy the incredible view of Paris. Stop at the Sacre-Cœur, and go to the little village where the Moulin de la Galette still stands. There are many sites that you still have time to visit, such as the Musee d'orsay, the Musee Rodin, The Picasso Museum and the Musee Carnavallet. Here are 2 half-day options if you are looking for ideas: 1. Latin Quarter. Start your tour with a visit of the Luxembourg Gardens for about 45 minutes. Then head to the Place du Pantheon and tour the Latin Quarter where the Sorbonne is located (30 mn). Walk to Place Saint-Germain des Pres, heart of the Parisian classical neighborhood. Take the Hop on and Hop Off bus to the Musee d'orsay for a visit. (2 hours). 2. Marais Start your tour at the Place des Vosges, the oldest and arguably the most beautify of all Paris squares. Walk 15 minutes to the Musee Carnavallet, rich with Paris history, and one of the best museums in the city. (1.5 hour visit). Continue walking towards the Seine and go the the Sainte-Chappelle, which displays some of the most striking stained glass artwork done in the middle ages. (1 hour visit). Next to the Sainte-Chappelle you can also visit the Conciergerie where Marie-Antoinette was jailed and spent her last days. 10 Page 10 of 16 DAY 4 Guided tour of Versailles A UNESCO world heritage site, the Palace of Versailles was the home of Kings Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI and their court from 1682 until the French revolution in Accompanied by your guide, you will discover the Palace of Versailles, a symbol of royal power: its baroque architecture, sumptuous decor, artwork and furniture made by the greatest artisans at the time. you can then enjoy some free time to wander around the French formal gardens surrounding the palace. You will leave our agency situated in the center of Paris for a 45 minute train (RER) journey to the Palace of Versailles along with your guide. Entrance to the Royal Palace of Versailles You will be given a guided tour of the Palace of Versailles allowing you to immerse yourself in French royal life. It is spread out over a surface area of 67,000 m² and made up of more than 700 rooms. You will be able to access the most beautiful rooms in the palace without having to queue: the king s apartments with their 7 living rooms decorated on the theme of a god, the salle du Sacre and the majestic Hall of Mirrors, a reception room designed by renowned architect Jules Hardouin- Mansart. Measuring 73 m long, it was designed to dazzle King Louis XIV s visitors, with the light entering through the 17 windows and its 350 mirrors. It opens onto the palace s magnificent gardens, the second part of the visit. You can then explore the gardens at your own pace and admire the 386 works of art, the fountains, ponds, flower beds and copses. In the summer, numerous events are held, including the Musical Fountains Show. You can take your time visiting the rest of the grounds and catch the train back to Paris whenever you re ready. 13 Page 13 of 16 DAY 6 Visit of the Loire Valley Castles from Paris Visit the most famous Loire Valley Castles on your own with an audio guide through each of the following châteaux: the stately home Château de Cheverny, the charming Château de Chenonceau and the majestic Château de Chambord. Experience what life was like during the Renaissance period in these royal french residences. The tour starts at 7:15am at our agency in the center of Paris, where you will take a luxury air-conditioned coach across the beautiful french countryside. You will arrive in Cheverny, the first stop on your trip, after roughly two and a half hours' drive. You will visit the lovely and currently occupied Château de Cheverny on your own for about an hour and explore the magnificent, extremely well-preserved interior decor and its 17th century furniture. You can take this opportunity to have a short stroll through its beautiful gardens. You will then get back into the coach and head off to the Château de Chenonceau, about 45 kilometres from Cheverny (30 miles). This 16th century castle, called "the ladies' castle", was built, run and embellished by aristocratic French ladies like Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medicis. You will explore the stunning Château de Chenonceau with an audio guide and discover the fairytale architecture that is visible from the River Cher. Admire the refined floral rooms, paintings, tapestries and fascinating kitchens housed in the piers of the bridge that supports the Château. After lunch, you will visit the last castle of the day - the impressive Château de Chambord - which is an hour from Chenonceau. Enjoy the audio guided tour of one of the biggest châteaux of the Loire Valley, built by Francis I in 1519 with the help of Leonardo da Vinci. See the famous, striking double helix staircase and admire the panoramic view from the castle's terrace overlooking the grounds and its sea of chimneys. You have the opportunity to stay at each château for about an hour to explore inside and see the gardens at your own pace. At the end of the day, you will arrive back in Paris at around 8 pm.
