The Vercors Massif lies in the Prealps, in the south-east France, straddling the departments of Drôme and Isère, both of which are part of the Rhône-Alpes region, about 100 km S-E of Lyon. Grenoble Capital of the Alps - is the administrative and cultural capital of the department of Isère. Villard-de-Lans, situated in 35 km from Grenoble, is the biggest down-hill ski resort of the Vercors.

3 OUR PURPOSES: To propose multidisciplinary outings sparking an interest in discovering, questioning and curiosity. To provide an agreeable staying corresponding to your expectations. To facilitate the access to the variety of sports activities: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoe walks in winter; climbing, canoeing, speleology, via ferrata, hiking and others from spring to autumn.

E.g. availability to give a ski suit for each participant; Permanent presence of a member of the Club Vercors team during all your stay, available for you at any moment; Supervision of all your activities by the qualified staff; Placing at group s senior disposal a service car during all the stay; Respect for food choices of each group member; Rich, varied food, cooked by our chef on-site only from fresh products.

7 ORGANIZATIONAL TIPS: Preparation - is the key-word of the successful stay To define as soon as possible the type of activity to discover by children: winter sports, outdoor sports, cultural outings, discovery of nature, specific themes. IMPORTANT: not to make an overloaded request, this will not allow an adequate contribution or a satisfactory progress. Feel free to ask us some hints. Our experience will be particularly useful during your first stay. Start to estimate your budget for different activities on-site and to define if you need an everyday animators presence (obligatory for the primary school) or if you have enough of qualified staff. After having contacted us, determine the possible common dates of stay, taking into account air flight options. The Club Vercors manage multiple establishments and the choice of a place of stay can depend on the number of persons in a group. Taking an initiative in the preparing of your stay without consulting us could lead either to a change of a reception center, or to an undesirable living with another group. Do not forget to check an assurance coverage range and to ask us about the local complement. The regular interchanges with our team will let you to refine the grid of your program of activities, and we will book professionals necessary for your group (transport, sports instructors, guided visits, etc.). A completed estimate is clearly drawn up: every line corresponds to the service rendered, whether means of transport, animators, or supervised activity programs. At this stage some modifications are possible, but you shall have to match your desires with the budget. The prepayment is made according to the schedule, established in the estimate. One month before your arrival we have to prepare our staff, so you have to provide us with the next information: dietary specifics and medical cons-indications to respect, the different sizes of equipment to book (ski suits, ski masks, ski helmets etc) or the age of participants for the certain activities. We are entirely available for your school for a preparatory meeting with teachers or parents via a videoconference. The rules of stay, lifestyle and the recommendations for clothing of the Club Vercors will be transmitted to the participants to facilitate the clothes choice and to assure families.
