Bio: Ms. Srna Sudar gained her professional and managerial expertise through her engagement in different governmental, NGO and international organizations. At the Ministry of Environment, Ms. Sudar has worked in department for international relation, secretary of Council for Sustainable Development where she established effective relationship with relevant stakeholders in Country and throughout Europe. Her professional engagement and managerial skills are strengthen while being engaged in USAID/ORT (Montenegro Advocacy Program) as NGO trainer and in OSCE Office in Podgorica as Expert for Environment and Economy and Head of Economy and Environment Section. In her extensive professional engagement and academic advancement Ms. Sudar acquired a number of management skills and capacities thus providing secure stand for effective cooperation and dialogue with different environmental and tourism development stakeholders on national, regional and international level. Since 2004 Ms. Sudar acts as Director of the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC), Countries Office Montenegro, where she demonstrates natural resource management, sustainable development, sustainable tourism development and project review and prioritization capabilities, with good interpersonal skills. Through daily work and relationship with all relevant stakeholders on national and local level she has proven her following skills: projects and monitoring/review activities, project support and implementation; strategic thinking and planning; effective public participation; project design and budgeting; strong leadership skills; conflict management expertise; organizational and logistic skills; Effective time management, and professional management decisions accompanied with team building / team consensus ability. Most recently (in 2014) Ms. Sudar started her PhD studies at the University St. Kliment Ohridski in Macedonia, in the sphere of Environment and Security. She has over 11 years of relevant professional experience in the field of environment and in provision of consulting services to different institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina in development of a number of strategies/studies. Her overall responsibilities are to represent REC at national and international level, supervising Country Office staff, development and fundraising activities, establishing and maintaining cooperation with national stakeholders, government, civil sector, local communities and business environment. She also possesses extensive knowledge and practical experience in 9

10 the field of water management gained through participation in different projects (Protection of Priority Wetlands for Bird Migration in the Dinaric Arc Region through Integrated Site and River Basin Management; Water Quality Management at River Basin Level in Bosnia and Herzegovina; Impact on municipal wastewater on the River Vrbas; The Wastewater Treatment with Non-Conventional Technologies in Bosnia and Herzegovina; Support to the Public Regional Communal Service Company and four BiH municipalities; Setting up instruments for sustainable cleaning of the solid waste in the Drina River Basin, etc). Also, she has successfully worked with over 30 municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to assess their needs and capacities: identifying ways to enhance legislation enforcement, local development needs, develop Local Environmental Action Plans, identifying policy gaps, providing policy advice, designing local sustainability indicators and delivering capacity building trainings and coordination among relevant national, local and international stakeholders. Ms. Šuman drafted a number of analytical reports and improved enforcement of environmental legislation at the local and national level.
