To celebrate and to say thank you for joining our family, we ve once again organised a very special cruise across Eastern Europe. And you re all invited! We ve chartered an entire, spectacular European river cruise ship just for Two s a Crowd solos in August and September We ll travel through the historic town of Nuremberg, take a tour through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bamberg and discover the oldest and most beautiful town in Germany, Kolenz. Explore the stunning Moselle Valley, enjoy some wine tasting in Burgstad and take a wonderful city tour of Prague in the Czech Republic. Along the way we ll take in some fantastic scenery as well as some of Europe s finest history and culture, all while enjoying life on board. That s 15 days of spectacular river cruising plus an included pre-night in Munich! No couples, no kids, just like minded, solo travellers enjoying an amazing 2 weeks on some of Europe s most breathtaking waterways. Book early to avoid disappointment! EXCURSION INFORMATION All times shown are a guide only. The schedule of individual excursions can vary; this is partly due to the volume of traffic in the cities, weather and the opening hours of facilities. We recommend sturdy shoes, comfortable clothes and an umbrella or waterproof jacket for excursions. When exploring on your own, please remember to return to the vessel in time for its departure. If you arrive after the scheduled departure time you will need to travel to the next port of call at your own expense. The scheduled all aboard time will be listed in the daily program. Itineraries are subject to change. On all our excursions you ll be provided with a wireless AMADEUS listening device. The comfortable headphones allow you to hear your experienced tour guide s explanations with the very best acoustic quality. Enjoy complete freedom of movement, without missing any of the interesting commentary. Some excursions involve a fair amount of walking, sometimes over uneven surfaces. The following classification system has been used to assist with identifying which excursions are appropriate for you. Please feel free to ask us for additional information as required. LEVEL 1: Minimum walking; excursion by bus with short photo stops. LEVEL 2: The excursion by bus is followed by a moderate walking tour. You may need to climb some stairs. LEVEL 3: The excursion by bus is followed by a longer walk. You may need to climb several stairs. LEVEL 4: Moderate walking tour. You may need to climb some stairs. LEVEL 5: Considerable walk with longer distances. This may include uneven surfaces and some stairs.

3 Day 1-22 August 2019 MUNICH Welcome to Germany! You ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel where you can relax and unwind after your flight. Balance of day at leisure. Accommodation: Mercure City Hotel Munchen City Centre or similar Day 2-23 August 2019 MUNICH - PASSAU (B,D) After a leisurely breakfast be ready for your private coach transfer from the hotel to Passau at around 1pm. On arrival in Passau (ship departure point), we ll board the Amadeus Elegant with time to unpack and get ready for our welcome dinner this evening. This is a great opportunity to meet the crew of your home for the next two weeks, your Two s a Crowd Tour Hosts and fellow solo travellers. Ship sets sail from Passau at 6pm. Day 3-24 August 2019 REGENSBURG (B,L,D) REGENSBURG WALKING TOUR (9.00am to 11.00am) Today we visit Regensburg, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Germany with its impressive historic buildings. Among these architectural treasures are churches, monasteries, the town hall and one of Europe s oldest bridges that has spanned the Danube since the 12th century. During our walk we ll feel the former power and wealth of this city, which once controlled the trade route to the Orient. Next we visit the Regensburg Cathedral, dedicated to St. Peter and a masterpiece of Gothic architecture in southern Germany (visits depend on the opening hours of the cathedral and the celebration of mass). EXCURSION PALAIS THURN AND TAXIS WITH BREWERY (1pm to 4.30pm) Take in the beautiful and unforgettable historic Palais Thurn and Taxis. From the beautiful marble staircase in the south wing of the castle to the magnificent rooms of the princely residence, Guests are traditionally welcomed at the foot of the impressive staircase and the entire neo-renaissance interior is inspired by Roman antiquity. Afterwards we ll walk to a traditional brewery at the castle, for a short tour and the opportunity to taste a glass of beer and a typical Bavarian pretzel. Duration: approx. 3.5 hrs IRAN ADVENTURE

4 Day 4-25 August 2019 NUREMBURG (B,L,D) CITY TOUR OF NUREMBERG (9.00am to 1pm) Today s city tour takes us to the major sites and highlights of the city, from its medieval beginnings to the present. The historic town of Nuremberg, once a free imperial city, is the second largest city in Bavaria and the capital of Franconia. During the reconstruction work following the devastation of the Second World War, the style of the old town was maintained. Ringed walls, towers and the castle provide a vivid image of the town as it may have looked during medieval times. After passing the Palace of Justice, the venue of the Nuremberg trials, we ll head to the old town at the heart of Nuremberg to walk through the narrow medieval alleyways at the foot of the castle. The final stop is the main market, where you can stroll through the shops, or enjoy coffee before the coach takes us back to the ship. Duration: approx. 4 hrs GUIDED TOUR OF THE NAZI DOCUMENTATION CENTER OF NUREMBERG (2.30pm to 5.30pm) The Nazi party s rallying grounds are in the southeast of Nuremberg, where rallies were held from 1933 to To this day, the remains of the buildings with their immense proportions are a vivid testimony to the megalomania of the National Socialist regime. This area of eleven square kilometres served as an impressive backdrop for the Nazi party rallies, staged here to demonstrate their power. Today, the area includes a memorial site and is used as the Norisring motor racing track. During this excursion we ll visit the grounds and the documentation center with the permanent exhibition, Fascination and Violence, that looks at the causes, the context and the consequences of the National Socialist reign of terror. Duration: approx. 3 hrs Day 5-26 August 2019 BAMBURG (B,L,D) BAMBERG WALKING TOUR (9.30am to 12.30pm) Today we head to Bamberg, affectionately known as the Franconian Rome. Declared a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO, we ll take in the magic and history of this town on our walking tour, visiting the historic old quarter, churches and monasteries, bridges, narrow streets and squares, half-timbered houses and baroque facades. During the walk, we ll see magnificent sights such as the imperial cathedral, the old imperial residence, the new residence palace and rose garden, the old town hall and the former fishing village that is now Bamberg s Little Venice area. Duration: approx. 3 hrs Day 6-27 August 2019 WÜRZBURG (B,L,D) WÜRZBURG WALKING TOUR WITH WINE TASTING (2pm to 5.30pm) Today we discover the beautiful sights of the old town of Würzburg, such as the marketplace, the Maria Chapel and the old main bridge, with its unique panorama of the Marienberg Fortress and the surrounding vineyards. Afterwards, we ll visit the Würzburg Residence, which is one of the most important Baroque castles and a masterpiece of the southern German Baroque style. Built at the beginning of the 18th century by Balthasar Neumann, the magnificent staircase with frescos by the Venetian Tiepolo and the Imperial Hall are particularly impressive. Next we ll join a guided tour of the ancient wine cellar of a local vineyard, with the chance to taste a glass of wine! Duration: approx. 3,5 hrs

5 Day 7-28 August 2019 WERTHEIM (B,L,D) WERTHEIM WALKING TOUR WITH GLAS MUSEUM (9am to 11am) Today we immerse ourselves in the vibrant history and romance of Wertheim, exploring its medieval streets and numerous halftimbered houses. The Angel s Fountain and the Late Gothic Kilian Chapel are especially worth seeing, as well as the local glass museum. During a tour of the museum we ll learn interesting facts about glass and observe glassblowers at work. (Note: Visits to the glass museum are subject to availability.) Day 8-29 August 2019 RÜDESHEIM (B,L,D) RÜDESHEIM WALKING TOUR WITH MUSIC CABINET MUSEUM (9.30am to 11.30am) On Day 7 we head to the picturesque town of Rüdesheim for a walking tour and the chance to explore the Music Cabinet Museum. The unique Winzer Express train takes us from the dock of the ship to the Siegfried Mechanical Music Cabinet for a musical adventure with historical self-playing instruments. Next we ll explore the heart of the old town of Rüdesheim the Drosselgasse with its wine houses and garden taverns. Explore the history of the city with a visit to the Eagle Tower, a part of the city wall, and the fortifications from the 15th century. KOBLENZ WALKING TOUR (5pm to 7pm) This afternoon we discover Koblenz, one of the most beautiful and oldest towns in Germany, with over 2,000 years of history. On our guided walk through the romantic streets between the St. Castor Basilica and the Liebfrauenkirche (the Church of our Beloved Lady) we ll discover some of the town s landmarks, including the Schängel Fountain at the town hall and the Memorial of Emperor Wilhelm at the famous German Corner where the rivers Rhine and Moselle meet. We ll see the cable car that hovers over the Rhine, built as an attraction and ecologically friendly traffic facility for the federal horticultural show in It s Germany s first 3-rope cable car with the transport capacity of 7600 people per hour. 6 Day 9-30 August 2019 COLOGNE (B,L,D) COLOGNE WALKING TOUR (9.00am to 11.30am) During today s city walk, we ll explore Cologne, walking through the narrow, cobbled streets of the old town and through the picturesque squares. We ll visit the Cologne Cathedral, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site and seat of the archbishop of Cologne. Due to its two tall towers with a height of 157m each, the Cologne Cathedral is not only the landmark of the town, but also the most visited church in Germany. Duration: approx. 2.5 hrs EXCURSION TO THE SIEBENGEBIRGE NATIONAL PARK AND DRACHENFELS CASTLE (2pm to 6pm) From Cologne we travel by coach southward, passing by Bonn and heading towards Germany s first nature reserve, called Siebengebirge (Seven Mountains). On the top of this summit we ll find the Hotel Petersberg where many important political discussions, such as the Afghanistan conference in 2001, took place. You can reach the summit with Germany s oldest cogwheel train or on foot, where you can explore the remains of Castle Drachenfels (Dragon Rock) and enjoy the wonderful views into the valley Rheintal. Duration: approx. 4 hrs Day August 2019 COCHEM (B,L,D) EXCURSION MOSELLE VALLEY (by bus from Cochem / to Koblenz) (1pm to 7pm) The harmonious trio of the unique Mosel landscape, thousands of years of wine growing and rich culture makes Cochem especially popular. During today s walk we ll explore the city with its narrow, winding streets and visit the Reichsburg Castle. Thanks to its size and location on a precipitous rock high above the city, this magnificent castle dominates the cityscape. Equally impressive is the view from the castle, where you can see the Moselle Valley with its dreamy forests, meadows, vineyards and old town. At the end of our tour, we ll enjoy a taste of local Moselle wines before the bus takes us back to Koblenz through the picturesque landscape of the Moselle. Duration: approx. 3,5 hrs

7 Day 11-1 September 2019 MILTENBERG (B,L,D) MILTENBERG WINE TASTING (8pm to 10pm) Today we head to Bürgstad to visit a famous winery, with the chance to taste 4 different wines, all famous for the region. Cheese, bread and grapes are also served! Day 12-2 September 2019 WURZBURG (B,L,D) We spend today cruising, before enjoying a Bavarian evening on board, with local traditional Bavarian music. Day 13-3 September 2019 MAIN VALLEY AND MAIN-DANUBE CANAL (B,L,D) Today we cruise through the Main Valley and Main- Danube Canal. Day 14-4 September 2019 NUREMBERG (B,L,D) GUIDED TOUR THROUGH THE ROCK CELLARS INCL. BEER TEMPTATION (2pm to 5.30pm) Today we re in Nuremberg for a tour of a craft brewery and whisky distillery. For many centuries the citizens of Nuremberg have built vaults and corridors into the bright red sandstone below their city, primarily used for the ripening and storage of beer mostly the city s famous red beer. Today, the craft brewery Hausbrauerei Altstadthof again uses a small part of the widespread maze-like cellar system to ripen and store specialty beers and beer Schnaps. Our tour includes the chance to try two types of homebrewed beer along with a Nuremberger Bratwurst with Kraut or a Franconian snack with crusty bread in the brewery tavern, known as Bräustüberl. Duration: approx. 3 hrs Day 15-5 September 2019 REGENSBURG (B,L,D) CZECH REPUBLIC - CITY TOUR OF PRAGUE (by bus from Regensburg to Vilshofen) 09:00 12:30 Coach-ride from Regensburg to Prague 12:30 13:30 Lunch in Prague 13:30 16:30 City Tour Prague (tour description below) 16:30 20:00 Transfer back to the ship in Vilshofen Situated on the river Vltava in central Bohemia, Prague has been the political, cultural and economic center of the Czech state for more than 1,100 years. For many decades during the Gothic and Renaissance eras, Prague was the permanent seat of two Holy Roman Emperors and thus also the capital of the Holy Roman Empire. A coach takes you through the famous Golden City, the imposing Capital of the Czech Republic. You will see Prague s castle (which is now the official residence of the country s president) and the Cathedral of St. Vitus from the outside. A guided walking tour takes you to the Charles Bridge the oldest and most beautiful bridge on the river Vltava and to the Old Town, where you will see the town hall with its famous astronomical clock.
