2 Day 2: Friday 06 July 2018 London (Heathrow Airport, Terminal 3) - Budapest Arrive Gatwick Airport (South Terminal) at 6:20am. Clear Immigration and Customs, transfer by private coach to Heathrow Airport (Terminal 3). Your connecting flight, British Airways (BA 874) depart London at 12:50pm, and arrives Budapest at 4:25pm. Arrive in Budapest and transfer to your hotel. Day 3: Saturday 07 July 2018 Budapest, Hungary Sightseeing Breakfast - Savour the beauty of Buda and Pest on opposite sides of the Danube with a city tour that showcases many highlights, including the Great Market Hall, Heroes Square and Castle Hill. (B) The Grand Budapest Welcome to the grand cosmopolitan city of Budapest. Long a center of great beauty, elegance and sophistication. Once the co-capital of the Austro-Hungarian empire (sharing that title with the always glittering city of Vienna), Budapest has a long and storied history. From its beginnings as a Celtic settlement to its Communist era, Budapest has remained one of the most important European cities, drawing in over 4 million tourists annually. Thermal baths, imperial architecture and a magnificent skyline that illuminates at night, Budapest is a city with something for everyone. Day 4: Sunday 08 July 2018 Board River Cruise Ship - (Ms AmaSonata) Illuminations Cruise 7-Night Cruise (08-15 July 2018) - Budapest to Nuremberg Breakfast - Check out of your hotel to board your luxurious ship (Ms AmaSonata) in Budapest. Tonight, meet your fellow passengers as the ship cruises to Bratislava. During the evening, be treated to a special Illuminations cruise around Budapest s famed Parliament building. (B,D) Day 5: Monday 09 July 2018 Bratislava, Slovakia Walking Tour or Castle Hike Breakfast - Bratislava certainly has earned the title Coronation City of Kings as you ll discover during your walking tour that includes the Old Town Hall, Mirbach Palace and St. Martin s Cathedral. Or for more adventure, go high above the city by hiking up to Bratislava Castle.

3 Day 6: Tuesday 10 July 2018 Vienna, Austria City Tour or Alta Donau Bike Tour Klosterneuburg Abbey Bike Ride or Free Time Breakfast - The City of Waltzes offers a treasure trove of gems and you have two ways to discover them. Join a city tour showcasing its regal splendours, including the majestic Opera House and the former Imperial Palace of the Habsburgs before concluding in Vienna s historic city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and then visiting St. Stephen s Cathedral. For a more active exploration of the area, take a guided bike ride along the Danube. During the afternoon, you can enjoy leisure time or pedal your way to Klosterneuburg Monastery on a guided cycling tour. (B, L, D) Day 7: Wednesday 11 July 2018 Dürnstein - Melk Walking tour and wine tasting Dürnstein Fortress hike OR Apricots and Sweets tasting Cruising the Wachau Valley OR Danube bike tour Benedictine Abbey tour Breakfast - After reaching the Wachau Valley in the morning, you ll have a choice of three excursions in Dürnstein. Partake in a walking tour along cobblestone streets to the luminous blue facade of the Baroque Stiftskirche, its famed church tower, before enjoying a wine tasting in a local cellar. For a beautiful view of the Wachau Valley, hike up to the fortress where Richard the Lionheart was once held. Alternatively, visit a local boutique, where you ll be treated to the region s finest apricot products. After your morning excursions, you have a choice to cruise through the Wachau Valley to Melk or join a bike tour along the Danube. Upon reaching Melk, take a tour of the UNESCO-designated Melk Abbey. Guests looking for a more active morning can choose between a guided bike tour along the Danube, or a guided hike up to the Veste Oberhaus Fortress overlooking Passau. As an alternate option, sample some of Bavaria s specialties - beer, sausage and pretzels; or bike to Walhalla where you'll see the neo-classical white marble temple inspired by the Parthenon in Athens. 4 Day 10: Saturday 14 July 2018 Nuremberg Medieval city tour OR WWII city tour OR Franconian Specialties tasting Breakfast - Enjoy a scenic morning cruise as the ship crosses the Continental Divide via the Main-Danube Canal to Nuremberg. Explore the medieval city centre with a tour that show-cases the Imperial Castle and the famous town wall, as well as Albrecht Dürer s home and Market Square with its legendary fountain. Or you can take a guided tour of the city s WWII history, including a visit to the infamous Zeppelin Field, a museum built on the site of former Nazi rallies and the site of the Nuremberg Trials when not in session. Alternatively, savour traditional Franconian specialties by sampling famously delicious Nuremburger Bratwurst, Rot bier (red beer) and Lebkuchen (gingerbread).
