5 Planning a wedding VENUE HIRE POINT LOOKOUT Look Beach Bar & Café With views facing out towards Frenchman s Beach, Look Beach Bar & Café is the perfect setting for a intimate reception catering for between guests. Point Lookout Bowls Club The bowls club can cater for larger wedding receptions within a relaxed environment. Point Lookout Community Hall The hall can accommodate weddings for 100+ guests. With both indoor and outdoor areas it makes for a great reception venue. Point Lookout Function Centre The Point Lookout Function Centre is a newly renovated venue for 100+ wedding guests. It boasts bamboo hardwood floors and an open plan design with extensions. Point Lookout Surf Life Saving Club Located right on the headland at Point Lookout. The surf club offers spectacular views right out along Main Beach. The main hall area can seat 100 people comfortably. There is also an upstairs bar and deck area. Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel Spa Resort Located with full views out towards Cylinder Beach, the function room can cater for 110 guests for a sit down wedding or 150 for a cocktail style celebration. VENUE HIRE AMITY POINT Amity Point Community Club The Amity Point Community Club s Function Room affectionately known as The Curlew Room can comfortably seat 100 guests. Seashells Café Seashells Café is a peaceful island style eatery which can seat up to 100 guests for your wedding reception. 6 How to get here North Stradbroke Island is accessible by vehicle ferry and water taxi from Cleveland, about 45 minutes south of Brisbane. Stradbroke Ferries operate up to 14 return trips daily and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes by vehicle ferry and 20 minutes by water taxi.
