You see at Harrison we don t just make beds. We make a great night s sleep.

4 Our 300 acre farm plays host to our sheep, and an array of wildlife and crops. The perfect place to manufacture a good night s sleep. Our beds are home-grown will do. So, to meet our exacting standards for quality there was only one option - we had to grow them ourselves. At our farm in North Yorkshire that s exactly what we do. Here we rear Texel, Mule, Suffolk and Zwartbles sheep that supply us with pure-grade wool for our fillings; wool that is amongst the thickest, strongest and softest you ll find in a mattress. We also grow flax and hemp. Flax, which is used to make linen, is three times stronger than cotton with unique properties that keep you cool and fresh. Meanwhile hemp is carbon-neutral and carefully nurtured without the use of pesticides. In fact, all our fillings in the Double Comfort Collection are naturally sourced, from mohair and wool through to the finest Egyptian cotton and natural latex. Each pillowtop contains our natural fillings, some of which are home grown. These are perfectly supported by our award-winning spring technology which makes our Double Comfort collection unique. The springs ensure the natural fillings in the topper don t settle and retain its shape night after night. Growing fillings on our own farm can take time of course, but it s worth it. After all, we take great comfort from knowing that everything that goes into our luxurious beds is as sustainable as possible, making little impact on the environment. This helps us, and you, rest easier.

5 Luxurious ingredients the sleeping surface, each one helping to achieve the ideal balance of comfort and support. It s the perfect recipe for a truly indulgent night s sleep. Flax Linen fibres are produced from flax, which is why we grow it on our farm. It s a strong, light and sustainable material that creates a breathable, organic filling inside our mattresses. Hemp Grown completely naturally and without pesticides, the hemp plant absorbs carbon dioxide and thus helps reverse climate change. Blended with other organic fibres it becomes stronger and more durable. But the real beauty is that it s absorbent, yet naturally resistant to mildew which keeps beds fresh and hygienic. Mohair Softer and smoother than wool, its fine silky fibres give it a luxurious feel. Wool Soft, springy and naturally supportive. Wool keeps you warm and dry and helps to regulate body temperature. It s also antibacterial and, as it s inherently fire-retardant there s no need to use chemicals in any of the fillings within our beds. Cotton Soft and absorbent, cotton s wicking properties help keep you dry and cool. Egyptian Cotton The king of cottons. Softer and longer, its superfine strands are perfect for wicking away moisture. Cashmere The double coat of the cashmere goat is resilient and durable. It has a natural springiness with a soft feel. The fine, soft underdown is stronger, lighter and more insulating than other wools. Latex Soft yet surprisingly supportive, latex is ideal for relieving pressure points. Naturally antibacterial and anti-fungal, it is the perfect layer for allergy sufferers. Silk Silk is the strongest natural fibre there is. It has a soft and luxurious feel and creates the most sumptuous of fillings, especially when blended with mohair and which is why we use it in the top fillings layer of our very best beds.

Maybe this explains how we came up with our exclusive Revolution technology: an innovative Spring-Within-Spring system that can only be found in a Harrison bed. Our Millennium award-winning technology helps to cradle you in the perfect position. This increases your support, and ensures your good night s sleep is better than ever. SPRING-WITHIN-SPRING TECHNOLOGY Revolution. A spring that lives up to its name Inside every Revolution pocket spring system there s a little miracle at work - two springs that work as one. It s a unique system with a small spring sitting inside a larger one, offering two levels of firmness. This gives you variable levels of support depending on your weight, and ensures you always maintain the best posture. Titanium Alloy. Lightness meets strength We now make all our HD springs with titanium alloy. These little wonders of engineering have been redesigned to be 40% lighter than before, making your mattress easier to rotate. Since the springs are stronger too, it makes an already good night s sleep that much better. Airflow does exactly what its name suggests, channelling air through the mattress fillings and directing it to the surface. Perforated spring pockets use each spring s natural pump action to encourage circulation. This, along with special air vents, helps the mattress to breathe. And it keeps the fibres - already resistant to both mildew and damp - fresh and dry whatever the season. Nested Springs The luxury latex models have a nested Revolution spring core. These are set in rows which are offset, so they nestle neatly together with no spaces. Such a dense layer of springs offers more points of contact with your body. This boosts the pressure-relieving benefits of the mattress and ensures a more comfortable night s sleep. High Density springs. More springs. More comfort The HD spring is a real world first. There are up to 2500 of these in the topper of a king-size mattress, all made with our lightweight titanium alloy. Smaller in diameter and height, they are highly flexible and work completely independently of one another. This three-dimensional support means they can adapt to your body s contours more precisely, which in turn relieves pressure and gives greater comfort and lumbar support. They are also good for the topper itself, ensuring the fillings always recover to their original position.

7 Our Revolution pocket spring system ensures you always have the correct spinal alignment. Just right When a mattress is just right for you it works with you and supports your body evenly. This alleviates any pressure and keeps your spine perfectly aligned. Not all mattresses are created equal Whether you are standing up or lying down your spine always needs to be aligned. This is because a straight spine puts less strain on your hips and shoulders. Too soft When a mattress is too soft for you it can put severe pressure on your lower back. It is not only uncomfortable, it can cause stiffness the following day. However, since no two spines are the same, at Harrison we make beds that are tailored to you and adapt to the contours of your body. There are three mattress types - pillowtop, boxtop and latextop - all with excellent support and comfort. Each type offers different benefits ensuring there is a topper that is tailored to your needs. The pillowtop has a soft and comfortable cushion, which sits above the supportive pocket spring core mattress. The layers of springs within the topper create a responsive sleeping sanctuary that prevents the upholstery fillings from compacting; this maintains the loft without having to turn the mattress. With more fillings and springs, the boxtop has a 7cm border around the topper. The sumptuous topper features silk, the strongest of all the fibres that we use. With double side stitching and 16 air vents the boxtop mattresses allow a constant flow of air ensuring the fillings can breathe. The latextop has a 10cm border and features additional fillings, including luxurious cashmere, as well as an extra layer of latex above the supportive spring core mattress. Three rows of side stitching creates edge-to-edge support by increasing the sleeping surface. The latextop is complemented by a 3500 True Edge base that can be upholstered in a variety of fabrics, some exclusive to this range.

Exclusive to Harrison, True Edge uses a combination of a row of springs on the outer edge of the mattress and a strong supportive timber perimeter to the pocket sprung base; this delivers comfort and support in the sleeping areas as well as durability to the hard working sides of the bed. Increasing the sleeping surface due to its edge-to-edge support and eliminating the feeling that you may roll or fall, True Edge allows you to enjoy as much room as possible in bed and an undisturbed night s sleep. 2500/3500 TRUE EDGE SHALLOW DIVAN (with legs) A Double Comfort mattress is thicker than a traditional mattress so a shallower base is an ideal alternative. This slim divan base is available with 2500 springs and 3500 springs for luxury models.
