10 Our Wipe Clean Accessories Foam mattress Have you ever wondered how much time and money it costs to clean a mattress cover? A lot more than you might think when you consider you have to take the time to remove the cover, take to the decontamination/cleaning area, place in the washing machine, wait for the cycle to finish, place in the dryer, take back the cover to the mattress and recover. Pavillion Medicals wipe clean mattress takes these actions out of the equation by providing a foam mattress fully sealed in a waterproof, vapour permeable, polyurethane cover. All that is required to clean the mattress is a good anti-microbial agent that will decontaminate the surface, wipe over clean and the mattress is ready for the next patient. With an option of a 50mm memory foam topper, the Pavillion Medical foam mattress ensures patient comfort and provides optimum pressure reduction. Duvets Pavillion Medical duvet options allow a choice of fillings and tog sizes. Dependent upon your specific patient/care needs we have a solution to cover any surface area of a mattress platform. Covered in the same material as the foam mattress, cleaning and maintenance of the duvet is very simple and not time consuming. Pillows A good night s sleep is very important to ensure that patients are well rested and on the road to recovery. Pavillion Medical pillows are available with different fillings to meet your specific patient/ care needs. Covered in the same material as the foam mattress, cleaning and maintenance of the pillows is very simple. Side Rail Buffers Side rails pose a potential risk to the patient in terms of injury. Pavillion Medical Side Rail Protectors are designed to provide a cushioned cover for the side rails as a preventative measure to increase patient safety when lay in bed. Last longer Pavillion Medical wipe clean range provides a cost and time effective solution to the cleaning and decontamination of mattresses, duvets, pillows and side rails buffers. The conventional method for the cleaning of such products is to remove the outer covering, put in a washing machine, wait for the cycle to finish, dry the cover and then replace back on the product. However, with Pavillion Medical range of wipe clean accessories the method of cleaning is relatively fast and easy; spray down with a suitable anti-microbial agent and wipe clean, the product is now ready for the next patient. Pavillion Medical recognises that in some certain situations placing the cover in the washing machine may be the only course of action; this is why we offer the option for the cover to be removable either for washing or replacing.
