3 Introduction. Fish is considered as a source of protein.. Fish production is greatly affected with parasitic infection.. Fish may act as a source of parasitic zoonoses. 4. This study was focusing on metacercarial infection of fish.

4 Aim of the work Study the incidence of different metacercariae and cysts in ten fish species. Identification of these metacercariae and cysts by excystation and animal inoculation. Collection of adult worms recovered from experimentally infected laboratory animals (rats and mice. 4Mounting and identification of the recovered worms.

5 By examination of the muscles of a total no. 669 from which 55 Oreochromis niloticus,9 Clarias lazera,9 Bagrus bayad,, 5 Schilbe mystus, 67 Mugil cephalus,, 6 Synodontis schall, 5 Mormyrus niloticus,, 4 Common carp, 40 Sardinella jussieu and 7 lates niloticus And the results revealed that ::
