2 The Breezi Range Built and assembled in the UK, Breezi range of chairs are neat pieces of craftsmanship that can be incorporated into any home, school, college, or nursery. Every chair can be used as a simple seating solution, or made bespoke to meet the needs of each child. The Breezi range can be used to help children with mild to moderate needs, including those with postural and behavioural difficulties. The Breezi chair is available in three sizes: Teezi, Breezi, and Breezi Max. This brochure provides a list of all the accessories that can be used with all three sizes. 3 Why choose from the Breezi range? Adjustability Offering a range of seat depth options and interchangeable Z-legs, the chairs are easily adjustable to grow with the child catering for all sizes. Manoeuvrability Various mounted castor options enable easy manoeuvrability, making it easy for carers to move the chair wherever needed, in school and at home. Wooden Design Wood has natural antibacterial properties, and is easy to clean. Breezi chairs can be easily incorporated into the home. Stability Breezi chairs are as stable as they come, with longer length feet compared to other chairs on the market. This helps prevent them from tipping over. Accessorise Head to toe support accessories are available to create the optimal seating position for the individual. Upholstered accessories can be purchased in a variety of colours and fabrics, with the option to personalise. 7 Pelvic Positioning Pelvic Positioning Accessories Position a Hip Belt at 80º+ The ischial tuberosities (ITs) are the pointy boney prominences in the buttocks that feel the most amount of pressure on a hard surface. The proper positioning location of a belt to control for posterior pelvic tilt is to have the belt fixed anterior to the greater trochanter. Not only does this allow for greater reach, but in doing so allows for offloading of the ischial tuberosities while preventing submarining. The ischial tuberosities (ITs) are the pointy boney prominences in the buttocks that feel the most amount of pressure on a hard surface. A pre-ischial ridge when placed in front of the ITs can help to avoid undue pressures to the anterior of the ischials, which in turn stop the pelvis slipping forward.
