1 Kastle Kurrents Thursday 31st July 2014 The camp is being disassembled till next time. The Future Starts Today! As our Jamborette draws to a close and we are all heading away from Blair Atholl I hope that you have enjoyed your time here. It has been a privilege and an honour to be your Camp Chief. At the start of the camp I asked you to challenge yourself with new activities, embrace the different cultures at the Jamborette and do your best to ensure that you and your fellow Scouts had a magical ten days. Without doubt this has happened and the laughter and fun we have all experienced is testement to that. As you leave Blair Atholl I would ask you to reflect on all the fun you had here, the people you have met and the friends you have made. The camp may be over but you are now a member of our Blair Atholl family and the words Blair Atholl are forever stamped on your Scouting life; the memories of your time here will stay with you forever. 2 Burns Suppers Burns Suppers took place arcoss the Jamborette on Wednesday evening. At the Leader Burns supper we were treated to, cock a leekie soup, haggis, neeps, tatties, triffle, cheese, biscuits, shortbread, Irn-bru and water. A piper, piped in the top table and the haggis. Keilidh In Our Kastle What better way to work off all the delicious food we just consumed at the Burns Supper than to dance it off at a traditional Scottish Ceilidh.

3 Athollantics Subcamps compete against each other in mini games which only last five minutes then the move on to the next game. Three Subcamps go clockwise and three ant-clockwise so at each game they are up against a different team

Simon, Darragh & Sophie The Blair-AKToR Team THE Site Services Team Any pipes needling laid? Any marquees needing pitched? Any bogs needing washed? Site services are the ones you need! They do huge and often unappreciated job around camp putting in long hours well after most of us are tucked up in bed. You will often find them speeding about on their aptly named quads, Bog 1 and Bog 2, or in one of the many Land Rovers. Site services do an outstanding job of keeping the facilities up and running throughout the camp and spend several days before and after the Jamborette setting up and dismantling everything. If you see one of the team make sure you give them a smile, even if they re not. After all they may have just washed a bog!

A big thank you to the Kastle Kurrents Teams, who all worked long hours to produce the camp daily newspaper, even if the printers were not always on our side and we ended up with more staples in us then on the papers. Our team was Stephanie, Joanne, Ryan and small child who photo bombed us, thank you.
