Programs with a fee require pre-registration 5 days prior to program date. Free programs require no pre-registration unless you are bringing a group (more than 4 participants). One World Adventure Company and outdoor expert, Bill Shugart, will teach hands-on methods of basic survival skills dealing with water, shelter, food, fire and getting found. Skills are similar to those shown on popular TV. This program will be OUTSIDE, hands-on, hiking, collecting materials with hands so wear appropriate clothing for a cold winter day in the wilderness. Participants will be sitting on the ground, crawling on the ground as necessary, and will get dirty so to speak. Dress in layers. Bring your own lunch, snacks and water/drink.

These are easy to moderate hikes on rocky dirt trails. Dependent upon water level. Participants will be divided into teams and use clickers to answer questions during this fun competition. Prizes will be awarded to the top performers. Date: Saturday, April 26, Noon Fee: $5 per person; pre-registration required Fly Fishing for Beginners Join Conservation Coordinator and master outdoorsman B.J. Johnson for this fly fishing workshop. You will learn all the basics to get started on your own fly fishing adventures! This workshop will be on dry ground, not in the river. But by the end of the workshop you will be river savvy!
