2 *ITINERAR SUBJECT TO CHANGE* SATURDA, JUNE 25: DEPARTURE Depart U.S. airport for an overnight flight to Dublin, Ireland. SUNDA, JUNE 26: WELCOME TO IRELAND! Morning arrival into Dublin. After customs, group is welcomed by our Irish guide. Board our motor coach to take in a panoramic Dublin sightseeing tour, where we ll see the fascinating historic buildings and Georgian Squares. G.F. Handel first performed his famed Messiah in Dublin in April ou ll have free time for lunch then afternoon check-in at the hotel. Late afternoon we ll have our first rehearsal as a massed choir. After, we ll enjoy a welcome dinner together in the hotel. MONDA, JUNE 27: DUBLIN After breakfast, continue our rehearsals. Perform our first concert at the historic St. Patrick s Cathedral with Joseph Martin and Lloyd Larson. The Cathedral stands on the oldest Christian site in Dublin where it is said that the Saint baptized converts into the Christian faith. This afternoon and evening is free for further sightseeing or shopping and dinner on your own at a traditional Irish Pub. ou might opt for a visit to the famous Book of Kells housed at Trinity College or head over to the Jameson Distillery or Guinness Storehouse for a tour and tasting! Be adventurous! TUESDA, JUNE 28: WICKLOW MOUNTAINS/WATERFORD After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head south into the beautiful Irish countryside. Our journey will take us across the picturesque Wicklow Mountains on our way to Waterford. Waterford is Ireland s oldest city, and it has the distinction of being older than all of the Northern European capitals with the exception of London and Paris. In 914, the Viking adventurer and pirate, Regnall, a grandson of Ivor the Boneless, established a base here and built a ship s haven. Throughout the medieval period and up until the end of the 17th Century, Waterford remained the second city in Ireland; Dublin was the first. This morning, we ll enjoy a walking tour of Waterford, rich in culture and a strong Viking history. Waterford may be best known for the House of Waterford Crystal, which we will have the chance to visit today. Afternoon check-in to our hotel. Evening at leisure for dinner on your own. WEDNESDA, JUNE 29: WATERFORD/CARDIFF After breakfast, we check out of our Waterford hotel and travel east to the coast. In Rosslare, we board a ferry for a leisurely 4-hour crossing of St. George s Channel to Fishguard or Pembroke, Wales. Upon arrival, board our coach and transfer to Cardiff Castle, one of Wales leading attractions and a site of international significance. Located within beautiful parklands at the heart of the capital, Cardiff Castle s walls and fairytale towers conceal 2,000 years of history.!cardiff Castle has also been film location for several BBC TV Shows including Doctor Who and Sherlock. Afterwards check into our hotel. Dinner included in Cardiff tonight. THURSDA, JUNE 30: CARDIFF/CAERPHILL After breakfast, we venture north from Cardiff for a visit to the Big Pit National Coal Museum. Big Pit is a real coal mine and one of Britain s leading mining museums featuring the world-famous Underground Tour where you will have the option to go 300 feet underground with a real miner to see what life was like for thousands of men who worked at the coal face. After free time for lunch, we ll visit Caerphilly Castle, a medieval fortification in Caerphilly in South Wales. It was constructed in the 13th century by Gilbert de Clare as part of his campaign to conquer Glamorgan and saw extensive fighting between Gilbert and his descendants and the native Welsh rulers. Surrounded by artificial lakes, it is considered by historian Allen Brown to be the most elaborate water defenses in Britain. It occupies around 30 acres and is the second largest castle in Britain. We anticipate performing concert in Caerphilly or Cardiff this evening with Joseph Martin and Lloyd Larson. FRIDA, JUL 1: BATH/STONEHENGE After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel to the English city of Bath. The Georgian city features the world famous Roman Baths andtemple. The Romans transformed Bath into England s first Spa Town and, in the 1st century, built the magnificent Roman Baths that we ll have the chance to visit. We anticipate an opportunity for a stop-and-sing in beautiful Bath Abbey, one of the largest examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture in the West Country. After free time for lunch in Bath, en route to London, we ll stop at Stonehenge, the Neolithic monument with 50-ton pillars, part calendar/part place of worship. Stonehenge is one of the United Kingdom s most ancient landmarks, surrounded by myth and legend dating as far back as 3100 BC. Continue to London to check into our hotel. This evening free in London for dinner on your own or take in a West End Show! SATURDA, JUL 2: SOUTHWARK CATHEDRAL/LONDON This morning after breakfast, we ll have a panoramic sightseeing tour that takes in Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Piccadilly Circus, the London Eye and Trafalgar Square. We ll have some free time at lunch in Covent Garden. After lunch, we ll have a visit to Wesley Chapel. This evening, we head to Southwark Cathedral, situated on the south bank of the River Thames, with a history of over 1,000 years. Here we ll have some rehearsal time here before performing a concert of sacred music at this historic cathedral. For the first time in the history of Journeys with Joe trips, 2 different choir trips will overlap on this day to create one massed choir that will join together in glorious song! Farewell dinner included tonight. SUNDA, JUL 3: DEPARTURE This morning after breakfast, we transfer to London s Heathrow airport for our return flights to the US.

3 OPTIONAL NORMAND/PARIS EXTENSION SUNDA, JUL 3: CLIFFS OF DOVER/NORMAND We check out of our London hotel and board our coaches to depart for the coast. We will board the ferry at Dover, taking in the iconic sight of the White Cliffs of Dover, as we cross the channel to France. On arrival into France we travel into the Normandy region, one of France s largest regions with its picturesque views with many beaches, rivers, orchards historic abbeys, castles and chateaux. Normandy is also associated with the Impressionist painters who came to the region on their own family holidays. Afternoon check-in to our hotel. Dinner included at the hotel tonight. MONDA, JUL 4: NORMAND/PARIS We transfer this morning to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery and Memorial in St. Laurent. Omaha Beach was the site of the most difficult landing in WW II by the 1st U.S. Infantry Division. In the early hours of June 6, 1944, Allied forces began landing on the shores of Normandy, the first step in the long-planned invasion of Germanoccupied France. We are in Coleville-St.-Laurent where almost 10,000 American graves stretch over a beautiful 200-acre coastal reserve. We will perform a Tribute to Freedom s Heroes concert overlooking the cemetery at lunchtime followed by poignant free time to explore this serene location. A boxed lunch is included today. Afterwards, we depart Normandy region for Paris. Late evening check-in to our Paris hotel; dinner included. TUESDA, JUL 5: PARIS After breakfast at the hotel, board our motor coach and visit the Eiffel Tower where we ascend by elevator to the 2 nd level affording wonderful panoramic views of Paris. Afterwards, we also include a panoramic tour of some of the most famous Paris sights including the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, and the Church of Notre Dame. After some free time for lunch, we finish our day at the Village of Montmartre for a walking tour. Our guide will introduce the group to the Sacre-Coeur, the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, plus the Place du Tertre, the main square bustling with cafes and people, especially the artists with their easels doing sketches. Final group dinner at a local restaurant in Montmartre. WEDNESDA, JUL 6: PARIS Today is a full free day in Paris for further sightseeing and shopping! Lunch and dinner on your own today. THURSDA, JUL 7: DEPARTURE Check out of our hotel and transfer to the Paris airport for our return flights to the U.S.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PURCHASING AIRFARE F Journeys with Joe projects are made up of people from multiple locations around the United States. Because of that, we have not included airfare in your cost. All ground transportation to and from the International Airports is arranged for the group as a whole. Because of this, you ll need to follow the below guidelines regarding purchasing airfare in order to assure that you are included in the group transfers. PLEASE NOTE: Airfare is not available for purchase until 11 months prior to travel dates. This means airfare will NOT be available for purchase until AFTER July 26, Each participant will receive a reminder about air via from your project manager prior to this date. Please do NOT purchase airfare until your project manager has released you to do so. FOR GROUPS OF 15 OR MORE: If you are part of a group of people who are flying from the same point of departure on the same dates, your project manager will work with the leader of your group to secure a group flight. We will work closely with your leader to establish the best point of departure, schedule, and pricing. Once these arrangements have been made, information about the flight will be communicated to you via . A couple of notes about group flight purchases: Group reservations are booked as round-trip travel in coach/economy class. Seats cannot be pre-assigned by Harmony International with group bookings. Group reservations cannot be paid for using frequent flyer points.
