The project involve increasing the capacity of Clinker MTPA to 1.02 MTPA, Gypsum 0.05 MTPA to 0.14 MTPA, Slag 0.5 MTPA to 1.35 MTPA, Coal T to T and Rice husk 3000 T to T. The project is estimated to cost Rs.3000 million. Latest Update : Commissioning : As of February 2016, the project is expected to go operational in mid ACC Ltd is planning to set up a cement plant in Gollapalli in Mylavaram Mandal in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a 5.0 mtpa cement plant, cement grinding unit of 8.0 mtpa, captive power plant of 100 MW. The project cost is estimated at Rs million. The coal requirement for the cement plant and power plant is 0.88 MTPA and 1.06 MTPA respectively which will be sourced from Singareni Coalfields (SCCL) in Andhra Pradesh. The expansion programme will be implemented over a period and will be completed by The new clinker unit will feed new grining units coming up in Sindri in Jharkhand and Kharagpur unit in West Bengal. The project will entail an investment of Rs million. Latest Update : Commissioning : The company has conducted ground breaking ceremony in 2013 and has awarded the contract to KHD Group. The plant will be built using COMFLEX technology for grinding plant along with clinker grinding and pyro processing. McNally Engineering has been awarded the civil construction works and the contract is worth Rs million. As of February 2016, the project is under implementation and is likely to be completed by end of ACC Cement is setting up a 2.7 million tpd cement plant in Kharagpur town of West Bengal.
