2 OVERVIEW Welcome to the 2 nd edition of the newsletter of. It gives immense pleasure to inform our esteemed clients that has entered its 200 th year in business in 2010 and is on top gear to surpass all its previous records as the group has faced many challenges in this long duration of 200 years and is always a winner. Scenario has changed in last few months in heavylift industry due to some major road accidents in India and the only way for success is to strictly follow safety norms at every stage. always accord first priority for safety and quality. We have always emphasis on Right Path, Right Planning, Right Procedure, Right Plant & Machinery, Right People, Right Place, Right Price, Right Party and Right Policy while handling the projects but still many do not give importance to quality and safety and just to cut down the transportation cost compromise on safety which results into loss of time, loss of money, delay in commencing the project, loss of equipment and most important is loss of Human Life. There are few major accidents by few operators which made the authorities to enfocre the rules strictly in certain states. Everyone must understand the importance of safe transportation of heavylift which not only helps the project in timely completion but also saves the public propert,y roads and bridges which helps the industry, trade and ultimately the people of the country get the benefits. 2 nd issue of our newsletter gives details of major projects handled by ABC Dubash Group in last 6 months and also new developments within the group. MAJOR PROJECTS COMPLETED BY URMILA PROJECT SERVICES PRAXAIR INDIA PVT LTD Urmila has successfully transported 10 packages from Chennai to Tornagallu. Packages were handled in total 2 shipments.

3 MAJOR PROJECTS COMPLETED BY URMILA PROJECT SERVICES PRAXAIR INDIA PVT LTD Urmila has successfully transported 10 packages from Chennai to Tornagallu. Packages were handled in total 2 shipments. Urmila has mobilized 84 axles and 5 prime movers to handle these packages. Length of the packages were in the range of 17 m to 30 m and having width of 5.5 m. Due to excessive length and height 4.5 m convoy has faced many problems enroute but have delivered the packages to the entire satisfaction of the client. ESSAR MAHAN POWER PROJECT Convoy of 5 trailers on National Highway Urmila has transported and delivered safely second longest heavylift package (Feed Water Tank) having dimension 35.35m x 4.10 m x 4.30 m MT on Goldhofer 16 axles line from Haldia port to 2 x 600 MW Mahan Power project. Hill terrain area itself set lot of challenges for movement of heavylift, accurate planning has helped us to overcome these problems and have successfully delivered this package. 3

HANDLING OF PACKAGE FROM RAIL WAGON AT BHEL FARAKKA Knowing our expertise in handling packages from Rail wagon once again Urmila was called upon by BHEL to handle Generator Stator weighing 275 MT at

4 HANDLING OF PACKAGE FROM RAIL WAGON AT BHEL FARAKKA Knowing our expertise in handling packages from Rail wagon once again Urmila was called upon by BHEL to handle Generator Stator weighing 275 MT at Farakka, which required specialization in removing the Generator Stator from the rail wagon and dismantling of the rail wagon. The team headed by General Manager Mr. S. K. Dasan successfully carried out the operations and delivered the package at site safely. TRANSPORTATION OF TRANSFORMER FOR BALIA HVDC PROJECT Urmila has successful transported 2 nos Siemens s Transformers having dimension 11m x 5.20m x 5.20m 320 MT from Majwara jetty to Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Balia. We have mobilized total 32 axles and 3 pullers for this job. We have loaded 320 M. Tons package on 16 nos Goldhofer hydraulic axles trailer with per axle load of 24 M. Tons and have proved that Goldhofer are the best axles for heavylift load 4

5 AMBUJA CEMENT LTD - TRANSPORTATION OF D G. SET - FROM AMBUJANAGAR TO NALAGARH Due to accident in Gujarat by other operator and tough stand taken by the authorities we have faced many challenges from the Govt. authorities in obtaining permission to cross the bridges while transporting D. G. set having dimension 10.53m x 4.25m x 5.7m. Due to height of the package trees, welcome boards, electricity, telephone cables were major hurdles during the movement. Total distance of 2010 was covered by Urmila within 66 days i.e. before the targeted date. TRANSPORTATION OF 2 NOS TURBO GENERATOR FROM PIPAVAV Urmila has secured another contract from BHEL Hyderabad for transportation of 2 nos. Turbo Generator having dimension 9.90m x 3.93m x 3.65 m 227 MT meant for GSEGL Hazira and Pipavav Power Company Limited. In view of stand taken by the concerned authorities for movement of heavylift by road and considering safety of the package we have given preference to multimodal transportation. 5

This jetty is a very good landing station for discharging of heavylift packages arriving at Pipavav port and is beneficial to

Urmila has accepted this challenge and mobilized barge and tug to take direct delivery under the ship s hook. One package we have discharged through our own jetty constructed by us at Hazira. Since Pipavav port do not give permission to discharge the heavylift package in port our Marine Experts have located suitable location for discharge of package meant for Pipavav Power Company Ltd., Pipavav and have obtained approval for re-commissioning of jetty in a record time of 3 weeks. This jetty is a very good landing station for discharging of heavylift packages arriving at Pipavav port and is beneficial to industries coming up in the same vicinity. DREDGING & TRANSPORTATION CONTRACT FROM MPPGCL SARNI We secured a long term contract from Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL), Sarni for dredging, pumping out and handling of Fly Ash cargo. We have deployed Toyo pump (DP-75-B) and have successfully started dredging operation. 6

7 DREDGING FOR INFO PARK AMBALAPPUZHA PROJECT ABC has been awarded prestigious contract by Govt. of Kerala for reclamation of site where an international standard Info Park is being built. Qty CBM and Elicott 370 dredger has been deployed. BOLAGHTTI INLAND WATER TRANSPORT TERMINAL DREDGING (LAND FILL WORK) ABC has been successfully completed the dredging contract for the above project for Inland Waterways Authority of India. ABC s Elicott 370 dredger was used. IBA APPROVAL & MTO LICENSE Group has obtained IBA approval vide registration no. MUA 1725 and has also registered itself with D. G. Shipping as a Multimodal Transport Operator and have obtained registration no. MTO/DGS/833/NOV/2012. NEW RECRUITMENT Following personnel have joined our Group Capt. A. K. Singh who has vast experience of 30 years in Marine, Port Operations and Dredging has joined as a Head Dredging & Offshore Services. Mr. Sreenivasan V. Kurup who has 17 years experience in logistics Indian and International market has joined our group as a General Manager Marketing. Cdr. Rajesh Atre who has 30 years experience joined as a Technical Consultant Maintenance. Mr. Renil Sebastian has joined as an Asst. Manager Customer Relation 7
