Chowki Majeed S/o Mohd. Habeeb, rowdy element of Reinbazar Police Station on Mohd. Chowki Majeed S/o Mohd. Habeeb, aged about 22 years, Occ: Auto Driver, R/o H.No /68/5, Road No.1-A, Bhavani Nagar, Hyderabad has committed attempt to commit murder, hurt and extortion in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate to make easy money and lead a lavish life. The accused/detenu has committed 3 offences including attempt to commit murder, hurt and extortion under the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate and has been creating large scale fear and panic among the general public, thereby adversely affecting the public order, apart from disturbing the peace, tranquility and social harmony in the society. Reinbazar Police made sincere efforts and arrested the accused/detenu Chowki Majeed S/o Mohd. Habeeb on in Cr.No.150/2018 U/s 386, 323 r/w 34 IPC and 25 (1) (b) Arms Act of Reinbazar PS and was remanded him to judicial custody. The Preventive Detention Order was executed on him on and he was lodged in Central Prison, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, HYDERABAD.

2 PRESS NOTE TRAFFIC AWARENESS BOARDS IN MALLS AND BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS TO CREATE AWARENESS ON TRAFFIC RULES Hyderabad Traffic Police launches another initiative to spread the traffic awareness among the public and visitors of Malls and other business establishments. Today i.e., on 24th Oct 2018, Anil Kumar, IPS., Addl.CP (Traffic), Hyderabad City, Unveil the traffic awareness boards in Traffic Complex, Nampally, Hyderabad. These boards will be placed at entrances and the lobbies of malls and other business establishments to create awareness on Traffic rules for public safety. This is a part of our Traffic Education Programme to reach citizens of Hyderabad. Hyderabad Traffic Police want to create a sense in the citizens that following traffic rules may avert accidents and save precious lives. It can save our lives as well as others just by following simple traffic rules. Hyderabad Traffic Police appreciate the cooperation of owners and managements of malls and business establishments in spreading the traffic awareness. In the beginning these are being kept in eight malls (Hyderabad Central Panjagutta, Big Bazaar Ameerpet, PVR Metro Mall Panjagutta, GVK One Inox Banjara hills, Cinemax Banjara hills, Sudha Cinepolis Shalibanda, Prasad Imax Necklace road, Maheshwari Parameshwari Multiplex Kachiguda X Roads) and later all big commercial complexes will be covered. Date: TRAFFIC ADVISORY The following traffic restrictions are likely to be imposed on from 0430 hours to 0900 hours, in connection with Hyderabad 10k Run around Hussain Sagar: The following restrictions and diversions will be made, if required as per the local situation: 1. Traffic coming from VV statue towards flyover and Necklace Rotary will be diverted at V.V statue towards Shadan College and Nirankari Bhavan. 2. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar intending to go towards Upper tankbund will be diverted on Telugu Tally flyover at Old gate Secretariat 3. Traffic coming from Liberty intending to go towards Upper tank bund will be diverted at GHMC office towards BRKR Bhavan, Telugu Tally, Iqbal Minar U Turn and on Telugu Tally flyover. 4. Traffic coming from Karbala Maidan towards Upper Tank bund will diverted at Children s Park towards DBR 5. At Kawadiguda X Road Traffic will not be allowed towards sailing club will be diverted towards Bible House. 6. At Karbala Maidan (Begumpet Traffic PS limits) commuters are advised to take diversion towards Bible House Kawadiguda X Road Lower tank bund 7. At DBR Mills traffic will not be allowed towards Children Park and will be diverted towards Lower Tank bund. 8. Traffic coming from Ministers road and Ranigunj will not be allowed towards Necklace will be diverted at Nallgutta Junction towards Ranigunj and Minister road vice versa. All citizens are requested to take alternate routes to their destinations and avoid the above route during the specified timings and co-operate with the traffic police. 5 P R E S S N O T E NABBED ONE HABITUATED NOTORIOUS PICK POCKETER AND ONE RECEIVER-RECOVERED (04) SMART MOBILE PHONES On the the sleuths of Commissioner s Task force, Central Zone Team, Hyderabad, apprehended one habituated-notorious-ex-convict Pick pocketer by name Mohd Mota Feroz and one receiver by name Raju and recovered (04) Smart Mobile Phones all worth about Rs. 1 Lakh. Names of the accused: 1. Mohd Mota Feroz, S/o. Late Mohd Mahmood, age 33 years, Occ. Auto Driver, R/o. Beside Hari Masjid, Arundathi Colony, Uppuguda, Hyderabad. 2. Raju, S/o. Late Narsing Rao, age 22 years, Occ. Auto Driver, R/o. H.No , Near Santoshi Matha Temple, Jinsi Chowraha, Dhoolpet, Hyderabad. Brief Facts of the case: On the reliable information today, sleuths of Commissioner s Task Force Central Zone Team apprehended one habituated-notorious-ex-convict Pick pocketer by name Mohd Mota Feroz who commits theft of Mobile phones at crowded areas and railway stations who is previously involved 13 cell phone theft cases in various Police staions of Hyderabad such as Afzalgunj PS, Mirchowk PS, Kulsumpura PS, Sultan Bazar PS and Nampally Railway Ps etc., The accused commits theft of the mobile phones and sell them to Raju r/o Dhoolpet. Today the accused Feroz while selling the theft cell phone to Raju at Osmania Hospital old Gate, the Commissioner s Task Force Central Zone Team apprehended them and recovered (04) Smart mobile phones total worth about Rs. 1 Lakh from their possession. Previous History: The accused Mohd Mota Feroz is a habituated PP and committing Pocket Picking from the last 12 year and disposing the theft property to his known and unknown receivers. The above two accused along with recovered (04) Smart Mobile phones total worth about Rs. 1 Lakh were handed over to SHO, Afzalgunj PS for taking necessary action.

7 PRESS NOTE RAIDED ON A ILLEGAL HRC BETTING GAMING HOUSE 16-HELD SEIZED NET CASH OF Rs.5,37,000/-, 34-Cell Phones, 03- Laptops, One TV and other incriminating material. On , the Commissioner s Task Force, East Zone Team, Hyderabad, on credible information conducted raid on a gaming house at Plot No.14, Pent house, Above Stop & Q Bakery, Near AOC Gate, Maredpally, Hyderabad and arrested 16-persons, including its organizer and sub-organizer namely Madav Murthy and D.Ajid Kumar respeoctively. Who are allowing his friends and known punters to play Hyderabad Race Club bettings which is a game of chance, without any valid license from the authorities concerned in the above mentioned address and earning easy money illegally. Seized net cash of Rs.5,37,000/-, 34-Cell Phones, 03-Laptops, one TV and other incrimintating material, from their possession. The arrested accused persons along with the seized property were handed over to SHO, Maredpally PS, for taking further action. The above arrests were made under the supervision of Sri K.Srinivas, Inspector of Police, Commissioner s Task Force, East Zone, Hyderabad and SIs Sri Govindu Swamy, P.Ramesh, G.Srinivas Reddy and C.Venkatesh along with the staff of the Commissioner s Task Force, East Zone Team, Hyderabad City.
