13 We started with S/N 441 back in 2009 when our client decided he had to have it after seeing it in New York. We tried buying it then, tried again in 2010, and again in 2011, and finally succeeded in When we negotiated our contract with the Seller, he insisted that we take this aircraft to an Authorized Gulfstream Service Center for our Pre-Purchase Inspection. His reasoning was that the aircraft had spent most of its life going to Gulfstream Service Center s and he wanted to be sure that Gulfstream was the one that completed the PPI. We did a full ARCS at Gulfstream Long Beach December of This is the same owner that took the aircraft to Gulfstream Service Center Dallas Texas in 2006 and basically had them gut the cabin and install a completely new interior with all new GIV style seating, LED Lighting, a Honeywell Cabin Management System, an Airshow 4000, and variety of other upgrades that are extremely rare to find in a G-III. Our client followed suit. Immediately upon taking delivery in December of 2012 he decided that he was not satisfied with the QTA Stage III Hush Kits installed on the aircraft, and per the advise of his long time Captain, decided to remove the QTA s and install the Hubbard Aviation Technologies QS3 Stage III Hush Kits. In 2014 they completed the 72 Month Inspection at Western Jet in Van Nuys, they had the engines sent to BizJet Tulsa in November of 2014 for the 10 year calendar inspection. The landing gear was overhauled at 5015 landings and has 3,926 landings remaining before the next overhaul. So from a maintenance perspective the aircraft has all of the big dollar and time consuming items already completed with nothing other than routine maintenance to do for the next years to come. Cosmetically I would rate this aircraft a 9 of 10, both interior and exterior. Even though all of the work was done in 2006 when you see the aircraft you would imagine it was done only a year or two ago. Everything just looks perfect and everything works perfect in the aircraft. Everyone knows the big argument about todays G-III market and current prices. Why buy a G-III when you can get a G-IV for 2.8M. The reality of that statement is that the low priced G-IV is priced this way for a reason, because it has some upcoming costly maintenance items due, it needs cosmetic refurbishment, or both. The same discussion goes for the G-III market. Sure there are plenty of decent 1.1M & 1.2M dollar G-III s that may have hush kits and might not need engine inspections for another 5 or 6 years. But I can assure you those G-III s don t have the ownership pedigree, the maintenance pedigree, the maintenance status, the numerous upgrades to the cabin, and the cosmetic appearance of S/N 441. For a serious buyer who is looking for a well equipped and well cared for aircraft that he or she can just purchase and begin to immediately operate trouble free with absolutely nothing else to do but fly & enjoy the aircraft there is no other option in today s market other than S/N 441.
