Seacology helped the islanders set up a desalination plant, which is now in operation. In exchange, the community created a 1,200-acre marine reserve around the island. This 116-foot liveaboard offers a comfortable and elegent home for our four nights at sea. Its interior is outfitted in brass, rich mahogany, and granite table tops, and its floors are completely carpeted. The salon comfortably seats all of our guests and offers a large-screen HDTV and DVD player and stereo system. 4 RESERVE YOUR SPOT TRAVEL ITINERARY Seacology is sharing this charter with Wild Earth Expeditions, whose founder, Thomas Baechtold, one of the world s most accomplished tour guides, will join us on this cruise. Thomas has previously been the dive guide on Seacology trips to Palau and French Polynesia. Seacology will only have four cabins to fill on this trip and these are expected to sell out quickly. Reservations can be made with a deposit of 50% of the per person cost. These deposits less a $500 per person cancellation fee are 100% refundable up to February 1, 2013, after which deposits are not refundable. Final nonrefundable payments due April 1, Payments can be made by check made out to Seacology, or by an American Express, Mastercard, or Visa credit card. A surcharge of 4% will be applied to credit card payments. Arrive at Guadalupe Island in the morning. Begin cage dives. More cage dives. Last day of cage dives. Depart in late afternoon for Ensenada. Arrive at Ensenada in the afternoon. Take private motor coach back to San Diego. End of tour.
