HORSEBACK RIDING A horseback riding activities at Linden Tree Retreat & Ranch will, without a doubt, be one of the most memorable experiences of your life. Our wranglers at the Ranch are well versed in Natural Horsemanship and love sharing their passion for horseback riding with guests of all different experience levels. From our typical 2-hour trail ride to our all-day rides, you are bound to never tire from the stunning Velebit Nature Park, UNESCO protected Biosphere Reserve, which totals over 2 million acres. Wherever you are at in your riding, whether you are a seasoned equestrian or an absolute beginner, we believe we offer a horseback riding experience that will greatly surpass your expectations.

2 2 HOUR RIDE: Enjoy this scenic two-hour ride going through the valley with spectacular views, stream crossings, riding trough gorges and meadows. Inhale the glorious scent of saddle leather mingled with wild flowers and sun-warmed pine. Delight in the simple luxury of experience the power of a strong and willing horse beneath you, the freedom of the frontier and satisfy your yearning for adventure. Treat yourself with an extraordinary day and experience the mountain country on a horseback. Whether you live in Croatia or are just visiting, a trail ride through the beautiful foothills of Velebit Mountain is very special activity for the whole family, group of friends, small company get-togethers or just simply for yourself. 3 WAGON RIDE: Families love this one. Three generations can join in our restored country wagon for a ride through the village. We make a traditional stop at the local pub for a hot chocolate or cold beer. Activity is offered: Friday 9.00 am Length of Activity: 2 hour (half day tour) Trail Length: 8 km Age Limitations: no age limitations Group Size: 2-7 people Price: per person (PDV/VAT included) Lunch supplement: per person (PDV/VAT included) - served lunch and home made juice RODEO & DINNER AT THE RANCH: Besides trail riding at Linden Tree Retreat & Ranch, our riding program also gives guests the opportunity to hone their skills in the riding arena. It's a great place to practice cantering (loping) for the first time and for getting the hang of a rising or sitting trot before you attempt this out on the range. For those guests on a longer stay, there is an opportunity to participate in our rodeo adventure and learn events such as barrel racing, pole bending, stake race and the keyhole event. It is complete with flag carrying parade and even some drill team practices for those who are keen and have mastered the maneuvers! 4 GUIDED MEDITATIONAL HIKE: The forest around us has an abundance of logging trails that are a hikers' paradise. Close by the Retreat are caves to visit, peaks to climb, rivers to cross and meadows to rest in. The possibilities are endless and our goal is to continue clearing and connecting trails to make them multi-purpose. Indulge yourself into the adventure of a different type of hiking. It can be a way to rediscover who you really are. When we are connected to our source, our living becomes inspired, light and more magical. We offer hikes are deeply meditative, revitalizing and are door to see your life and world with different eyes. He was an intuitive person whose abilities exceeded human potential as we know it, and with his inventions he made big difference in the world. Tesla was practicing yoga, meditation, visualization and was finding inspiration for his work in the Velebit Mountain. Museum with Tesla s patents and educational tour are well worth the admittance ticket. Bikes and helmets for different ages are provided.
