1 Dang! Fireflies Festival & Organic Farmstay (7th July 2018 till 7th Aug 2018) A firefly is actually a beetle. A one of a kind insect which emit bioluminescence to impress its female counterpart. It s a mating celebration, before the shower of love! Witness the glowing magic of millions of flies as you relax in the Dang forest near Saputara, Gujarat. Enjoy local cuisine, observing and participating in village life, and of course, the peace and quiet of the Dang forest along with its many birds and insects. You can also extend your stay for more nights and enjoy local tribal life, customs, temples, sightseeing and waterfalls. This phenomenon occurs only for a limited period before the monsoons, so book now! Festival Dates: July August Charges: INR 3,000 per person per night for adults. The tribal people will welcome you for Lunch at their home or at the Farm House. Get familiar with the tribal community and learn about the local customs, culture and traditions.

2 Get a first-hand experience of sustainable living by observing the lifestyle of the locals use of fish tank (to avoid mosquitoes), the organic way of preserving grains, organic farming techniques etc. Post dinner, proceed for the firefly show. Witness countless fireflies lighting up like an enchanted forest! DAY 2 Breakfast at Farm House and checkout. Say Good bye to the tribe & depart with magical memories! Explore the panoramic view of the mountain range from the hill top. - Pampa Sarovar - Girma Water fall (Gujarat s Highest waterfall) - Women Cooperative Society (Processing Cashews) Extended stay: Our participants who wish to stay in this beautiful environment for more days can look forward to participating in daily chores of tribes like chopping wood, making flour using chakki, dehusking rice using traditional techniques, applying dung on the wall, farming, livestock management, etc. Per night charges remain the same. NOTE: This is a form of Eco-tourism for a social cause. Your travel will enhance the livelihood of the villagers since part of the income generated will be earned by them. The accommodation is in a basic village home. Clean Rooms with attached sanitation will be provided. Rooms to be shared on double occupancy only. Do not expect luxury, but we assure homely hospitality. You have to arrange for your own transportation vehicle. Local Taxi/Shared Taxi can be arranged based on actual. Please don t wear formal/ casual/ leather shoes & please ensure the shoes are of good quality & not old as to avoid wear & tear especially of the shoe sole. Be prepared of poor mobile network in some locations. Please download and keep the Google Map route in the offline mode. Once you start the map, don t close it as you may lose internet connectivity on the way and it can get difficult to get back proper GPS location. Fresh Organic Vegetarian meal will be served in breakfast, lunch and dinner. Power failures are normal. Carry additional charged batteries. In case you spot some wildlife crossing the road while you are driving, please park your vehicle aside, don t honk and let the animals cross the road. Also give indication/ flash signal to vehicles coming from opposite side so the animal stays unharmed. Cancellation & Refund Policy: 90% refund of the package price if cancellation is done before 31 days 75% refund of the package price if cancellation is done within 30 days to 15 days 50% refund of the package price if cancellation is done within 14 days to 7 days

Cuts, bruises and minor injuries are normal for an adventure activity. First aid kit is available with the coordinator and the coordinators are trained to respond in such situations. Although Carvan trips takes all the reasonable steps to provide basic safety required for the particular activity, the ultimate responsibility of your life & safety is your own. During the trip, the trip leader s decision will be final decision, whatsoever. Carvan trips hold the rights to change / modify the itinerary or even cancel the activity in case of any unexpected change in weather or other unpredicted situations occur that are beyond our control. In such a scenario, we will try our best and make alternate arrangements (subject to availability). However, Carvan trips will not be liable for any refunds or costs such as travel or accommodation incurred by the participant in such circumstances. All activities are described as accurately as possible, however, the exact arrangements may differ slightly on any given day. Photographs are used for representation purpose and should be taken as a guide only. The itinerary is indicative only. A circumstantial delay can be expected on the day. 5 You understand that jumping into any unknown water body or going away from the group/campsite can be hazardous to life and we won t take any responsibility for any such individual actions. If participants are found violating the rules, Carvan trips reserve all the rights to remove the participant from the group. In such situation, no refund shall be provided. Refund will only be provided in case the trip gets cancelled by Carvan Trips; Other than that under no circumstances refund would be provided.
