A visit to the craftsmen in the guild museum Step by step, Brick by brick In Bichlbach, about 10 km from Reutte, follow in the footsteps of builders. You ll learn how the builders lived and worked. The prized guild books bear witness to the pride and confidence of these craftsmen. Furthermore, you can experience up close how the Bichltuifl was gilded and those with skilful hands can reconstruct the Guild Church and solve a riddle or two! During this time of year, nature seems sleepy, stark and seclusive. How do the animals get through winter? Which animals are active, which hibernate during the cold season? Together with a nature park guide, we go in search of animal tracks. The exhibition area which spans around 300 m 2 provides information about the chequered history of the market town of Reutte. Salt trading and the development of the town are themes too, as is the history of the Franciscan Monastery. The famous family of painters, the Zeillers, is shown in precious images. One particular highlight are the works by Anna Stainer- Knittel, better known as the Geierwally. Did you know that Reutte is also on the moon? You can find out how that came about in the museum too. The trail leads from the Karlift lower terminus across the Kälberangerle meadow to the upper terminus and back. Second option: From Mühl via Urisee Lake and Möslesteig path to Pflach and back to Mühl. Walking time: approx. 3 4 hours, basic level of fitness is required! It is especially the great variety of landscapes and view of the mountains as well as alpine foothills that promise lasting holiday memories for our guests to take home. The walk continues to the Pestkapelle (Chapel of the Black Death) and back to the starting point. Our hiking guide is happy to tell you about the history, nature and culture of our region. Musician workshop for guests The Steirische Harmonika is a musical instrument which is the most common musical instrument in the Alpine area and is definitely part and parcel of a holiday in Austria. Whether it is in a traditional Alpine inn, by the camp fire, over a leisurely evening meal or at parties where there is singing and dancing the special sound of the Steirische Harmonika always suits the occasion and delights young and old alike with hear-tening folk music. Why not feel like Hubert von Goisern or Andreas Gabalier for once? That is now a possibility for you as a holiday guest, with the unique musician workshop! For all ages (7 77)! You don t need to be able to read musical notes or have any musical experience. 15 Transport Informations How do I register for an event? Registration is done either via your host, or you can register yourself via the telephone numbers provided for the respective event in the programme. The earlier you register the better. Should you not be able to take part please cancel with the respective event organiser! Ruftaxi +43 (0) Call & collect Taxi From until end of march 2018 you will enjoy great value trips on the call and collect taxi service in the Reutte area when you have the Aktiv Card. You can reach our call & collect taxi service by calling +43 (0) , daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Aktiv Card-holders and those who have a booking confirmation from their accommodation provider can use this service. It is not available for day tourists. Important information: Events take place on the days stated in the programme when the minimum participant number has been reached. In the event of bad weather, we reserve the right to cancel outdoor events for safety reasons, without substitution. Each event offered is subject to available capacity. Minor time changes are possible. Subject to change at short notice. Participation is at your own risk. Please show your Aktiv Card without being asked.
