2 Neuschwanstein Castle and the Church in Rottenbuch Tuesday, 4 June 08:15 17:00 In 1886, seven weeks after the death of King Ludwig II, Neuschwanstein castle was opened to the public. The shy king had built the castle in order to withdraw from public life now every year vast numbers of people come to see his private refuge. After a guided tour of the castle and a breathtaking view from the Marienbrücke, a bridge over the Pöllat gorge, you can enjoy a stroll along Lake Alpsee before having lunch in a traditional restaurant. By bus you will explore the Pfaffenwinkel. This region is beautifully situated in the foothills of the Alps and makes you enter a world of baroque and rococo forms and colors. Especially the church in Rottenbuch is known as one of the most spectacular rococo churches in Germany; there you will find beautiful wall and ceiling paintings, impressive altars and statues. The exceptional density of churches and monasteries is unique to this region, earning it the nickname Pfaffenwinkel, which literally means priests corner. 3 Munich Capital of Bavaria Wednesday, 5 June 08:15 17:30 Discover the cosmopolitan city of Munich in a unique and unforgettable way: a bus tour will take you past the most important and beautiful sights of Munich before stopping at Nymphenburg palace, the favorite residence of the Bavarian royal family for many years. Munich is also famous for its breweries and the Weißbier (wheat beer), a specialty from Bavaria. There are around 20 major beer gardens and you will have lunch in one of them. In the heart of the city is the Marienplatz, a large open square named after the Marian column in its center. From here you will have the choice to either go shopping on your own or continue exploring the city center by walking with a tour guide. 4 Innsbruck Bergisel Ski Jump Stadium and Swarovski Crystal Worlds Thursday, 6 June 08:15 17:00 At the Swarovski Crystal Worlds 14 underground chambers of wonder are dedicated to the versatile artistic interpretation of the material glass. You surely will immerse in a world of glitter and sparkle! One of the world s largest Swarovski shops shows the entire collection of Swarovski products in an enthralling setting. Afterwards you will have lunch in a typical Tyrolean restaurant. History meets modern age on the Bergisel hill in Innsbruck, where you will experience an exciting journey through major stages of the Tyrolean history. The Tirol Panorama, a painting measuring over 1,000 square meters and curved 360 degrees, depicts Tyrolean freedom fighters battling against the Bavarians and the French in Close by you will explore the world-famous ski jump stadium: the new ski jump with its café on the very top was designed by architect Zaha Hadid in From there you have breathtaking views of Innsbruck and will be able to feel the fascination of ski jumping and Innsbruck s Olympic past. 5 Social Evening Monday, 3 June and Tuesday, 4 June 19:30 22:30 A fortress and trading post at the Via Claudia Augusta, used since the first century A.D., will set the frame for traditional Tyrolean cuisine and entertainment. Admission is free for participants and accompanying persons; on-site reservation for one of the two evenings is necessary. Free of charge, don t forget your voucher.

6 Conference Dinner Thursday, 6 June 19:30-23:30/00:30 Celebrate a successful conference with old and new friends! Hot buffet and entertainment by international artists from Las Vegas and Monte Carlo will make the Conference Dinner an unforgettable evening. Admission is free for participants; additional tickets for accompanying persons can be purchased for 50. Please reserve your seat(s) on the poster displayed in the foyer. Free of charge for all participants.

7 Local Tours Discover the area on your own and enjoy the local attractions: - Reutte and the castle ensemble Ehrenberg, - Füssen and its old town, - nearby rococo church Wieskirche - water falls of the Stuibenfälle followed by a boat trip on Lake Plansee, - cable car to Mount Hahnenkamm, - sports such as hiking, rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, Our staff will be happy to assist you in your planning. A detailed brochure from the local tourist information center is available at the seminar office. All guided tours will take place regardless of the weather. Rain protection and hiking shoes are highly recommended, since attractions are located inside and outside. Transportation to and from the evening events will be provided.
