Baronesses s Progress 4/30 - Unser Hafen Investiture Missives from the Baronesses Another has come and gone. We are left with lots memories, laundry and a fair amount of Atenveldt dust in our camp gear. Caer Galen was represented well by the few and mighty folks who joined us this year and we are grateful for them. We saw Lady Ella admitted to the order of the Golden Pheon and THLord Konrad admitted to the Order of the Sharp Arrow. Of special note: his gloves were those of THLord Tyr and were gifted by his widow, THLady Gwenifare. We added 4 new members to the Veterani this Estrella. Lady Ella shot many hours of archery and won Most Golds Hit in the Ladies Hand Bow Division of the Traditional Shoot (an endurance shoot based on the Hereford Round shoot). Dominic had his shiny, new rapier authorization and fought valiantly in the melees. We are mildly concerned about his mercenary leanings but they landed him on the winning team in the 5-man tournament on Thursday huzzah! Dominico (Nico) has been training locally and also took the rapier field for Caer Galen and the Outlands this year. And we met Wade (Ketill s friend) who is new to the area but then fought on the heavy field as boldly as any other from Caer Galen. Caer Galen s presence was all across Estrella: Young Sam threw knives for hours and hours; Baroness Cecily and Otto entered bound books of papyrus into the A&S competition and Otto was victorious in that category! We are proud to have Caer Galen represented across archery, heavy and rapier fighting, A&S, Thrown Weapons as well as many hours of volunteering by members of House Cygnet. We were proud to coordinate the Outlands party on Thursday night and couldn t have done it without donations from across the kingdom and bartending help from Baron Alisdair, Sir Albrecht, Sir Bela Bagatur, Lady Nerienda, Lord Johann, Lady Lana, Nico and several others. Special thank yous to Nico, Lana, Nerienda, Taver and Johann for making sure our camp was set up before we arrived in the late hours on Wed night. So many of us from Caer Galen and the Outlands at large are grateful to the hard work done by Lord Taver and Lady Nerienda. They drove the war truck and made it possible for many more folks to get to Estrella. Thank you! Finally, we mourn along with our friends in Fontaine dans Sable with the loss of dear Lady Veronique on Sunday morning of Estrella. The memories of her will last and the stories of her kindness and great deeds will endure. We are ever proud to be your Baronesses. Anne and Matildan Greetings, Officer Reports Hospitaller- Lady Livia I have no new news in the month of February. Thank you, Livia Knight Marshal Lord Finn Greetings Caer Galen, For February, practices continued at the indoor site (Barn A, Boulder County Fairgrounds), 4

YIS, Finn March 2016 Meeting Minutes Past Business Our camp was small, but everyone helped out. Konrad is the archery champion. Fencer included Nico, Lana, and Dom. The Outlands party was great.
