That the minutes as circulated are confirmed as a true and accurate record of the meeting held on 19 March 2018 at 7.30pm. John Howe/David Oakley Carried MATTERS ARISING FROM THE PREVIOUS MINUTES: The jetty has not been repaired yet. CORRESPONDENCE: Outwards: Jock Ross Thank you for the top soil. Ashburton Woodworkers Inc Letter enclosing the Future Development Resource Document for the Tinwald Domain. Inwards: Vintage Car Club of NZ Letter asking permission for the closed day on 5 May 2018 for the purpose of their annual swap meeting. Also requesting approval to allow very limited overnight camping with self contained vehicles on the grounds on the preceding night. Davis Askin, Open Spaces Manager Project Brief for Tinwald Domain Development Plan Review. Michelle Hyde, Ashburton District Council A letter listing the five consents that are required. that the Inwards Correspondence be received and the Outwards Correspondence be approved. Leen Braam/Paul Hefford - Carried MATTERS ARISING FROM THE CORRESPONDENCE: that a reply be sent to the Vintage Car Club of NZ giving permission for the Closed Day and overnight camping subject to standard health and safety compliance and road safety issues. Leen Braam/Bev Walls - Carried David Askin spoke of the Tinwald Domain Development Plan Review. Half an hour is to be set aside for this at May meeting, members are to bring ideas. Rae Page 1 of 5

2 FINANCIAL REPORT The income for March was $45, The Income and Expenditure Report for the period ended 28 February 2018 was also presented. See Appendix 1 that the accounts from the Holiday Park Sub-Committee meeting in April 2018 totalling $33, be ratified for payment. Bev Walls/Leen Braam - Carried Bev MATTERS ARISING FROM FINANCIAL REPORT: Bev Walls advised that the December statistics had been corrected. COMMITTEE REPORTS: 1. PLAINS MUSEUM TRUST No Report. 2. HOLIDAY PARK There was discussion on trees and Health and Safety...that the Report be adopted. Bev Walls/John Howe - Carried 3. GROUNDS Nothing to report. 3. HOLIDAY PARK DEVELOPMENT John Howe reported on progress. The kitchen plan had been modified, mirrors are going in. He suggested a soft start. MATTERS ARISING FROM REPORT: There were several suggestions for the opening, possibly a sporting person. Leen Braam suggested looking into the future by featuring children. In the Spring a tree could be planted. To be a plaque with the date. Alistair Wing suggested the Board have a Mid-Winter dinner. GENERAL BUSINESS: There was discussion on the pool skimmers. The firm cannot do it now, but we could use their plan for $800, but not their specifications. Other quotes had been obtained and if we can obtain a plan we could approach local firms to complete the job. That we approach H2O Engineering in Auckland and we approve payment of up to $800 for their plan. Alistair be given authority to negotiate with H2O Engineering on this matter.
