Spring has proved to be a very busy time for us here, not only preparing everything for Summer, and the many improvements around park but all departments have had great compliments from you and I

Spring has proved to be a very busy time for us here, not only preparing everything for Summer, and the many improvements around park but all departments have had great compliments from you and I appreciate this; and we have seen busier than normal activity, so thank you again. it s all going to fun packed, and I ve booked stunning weather for us all summer too! Jeremy Welcome our new Wardens, Tracy & Ali Swimming Pool Activities From 31st May, every Wednesday, meeting at 5.30pm SCUBA Diving will take place in the pool, please sign up in reception. This is a great taster to the experience of diving run by the experts at Ocean Sports and costs 15 per person (includes photo). Try-a-dive involves a brief beforehand about the kit to be used and how it works and what we will be doing. Afterwards we will be under the water for around 15 minutes. A free under water photo is available after dive; this is a wonderful way to find out what it s like to be immersed under the water for a period in a relatively safe environment. Swimming Pool This is now opening from 9am 6pm The first hour every morning 9am 10am will be an adults swim only. Locally Swimming Pool Seating Areas All the tiers above the pool level are viewing and siting areas to enjoy the views and surroundings, this area cannot be used as supervising area. Do not enter the poolside areas unless you are swimming or supervising. Tracy has worked most of her career in social care and customer service; Ali, originally from Turkey worked in engineering and electronics, they both find Cornwall a place of stunning beauty and just love living on the park in the wardens holiday home (now located behind reception). Both will be looking after all our the facilities on the park, and will also be on call in the case of an emergency, so please stop and say hello if you see them around park. We are committed to helping the local community with one aim, to improve the area for all to enjoy. We have renewed our commitment to sponsor Gorran AFC Football Team and we also sponsor the public toilets at Gorran Haven. The entry cost to the pool is also donated to a local charity People and Gardens who work from Pentewan. Nature Walks During the summer months (July & August) every Saturday afternoon, for the children, there will be a nature walk around the park, this will include an information pack and a drawing/ colouring competition.
