Purpose of Report/Recommendations 1.1 To inform Members of Licensing Activity during November December Background 2.1 Members will be aware that non-contentious licence applications may be granted by the Director of Health and Community under delegated authority. 3. Key Issues 3.1 One application for the grant of a street trading licence was received in November. 3.2 A number of applications for temporary street trading licences were received in November and December. These are shown in Appendix A. These applications were for the Christmas lights switch-on, the Closing of the Gates (5 th December) and the run-up to Christmas (1 or 2 weeks) 4. Financial, Equality, Legal, HR and Other Implications 4.1 There are no financial or other implications for Council. 5. Recommendations 5.1 Members are asked to note the above information.
