4 SOUTHERN HIGHWAYS PROGRAM INTRODUCTION Creating Jobs and Building a Stronger Ontario In 2013/14, the Ontario government will be investing $2.2 billion to repair and expand provincial highways and bridges. This includes $1.72 billion for Southern Ontario creating or sustaining more than 17,000 direct and indirect jobs.
