1 DIRECTIONS FROM HANEDA AIRPORT TO ICU If you are arriving at Haneda Airport, take the Keihin Kyuko Train 京浜急行電鉄 (Keikyu for short) to arrive Tokyo Station transferring at Shinagawa Station. The Arrival lobby and Keikyu station is directly connected on the 2 nd Floor. Please make sure to take the Keikyu Trainthere s another train called Tokyo Monorail on the same Floor. At the ticket vending machine, buy a connecting ticket to JR Musashisakai Station via Shinagawa Station in order to make it simple and easy to transfer at Shinagawa. The fare from Shinagawa to Musasahisakai is 470 yen. In addition to the fare of 410 yen from Haneda to Shinagawa, the total fare from Airport to Musashisakai will be 880 yen.

These trains will arrive at Shinagawa station while other trains won t. These 9 trains are bound for the Shinagawa direction. It s 20 minutes ride to Shinagawa by Express 急行 trains and 13 minutes by Ltd. Express 快特 trains. Keikyu Shinagawa Station ( 品川駅 ) 10 min. At Shinagawa Station, you ll arrive at track #2. Find the escalator/stairs located in the middle of the platform and go to track #1 across the railway to transfer to JR line walk through a ticket gate to enter JR Shinagawa Station. When passing the gate, don t forget to insert and collect your connecting ticket. JR Shinagawa Station ( 品川駅 ) 11 min. Transfer to uchi-mawari 内回り inner circle of Yamanote Line 山手線 (green) on platform #1 trains leave every 3-5 minutes. Tokyo Station is the 5 th stop from Shinagawa Station.

JR Tokyo Station ( 東京駅 ) Chuo Line 40 min. At Tokyo Station, go down the stairs and look for platforms 1 and 2.

*Since Tokyo Station is the starting station for Chuo Line, it is strongly recommended that you transfer at this station. Because of this, trains are less crowded (really!!).

If your flight arrives at night, it is highly recommended to stay at a hotel near Haneda Airport or Shinagawa Station.

If you are getting off at Shinagawa or if you are not transferring at Shinagawa, you don t need to buy a connecting ticket for Keikyu Line.

3 JR Tokyo Station ( 東京駅 ) Chuo Line 40 min. At Tokyo Station, go down the stairs and look for platforms 1 and 2. It s easier to find Chuo Line 中央線 when you look for the color orange, which is the color for Chuo Line. Take ONLY Rapid 快速 trains since others won t stop at Musashisakai Station. *Since Tokyo Station is the starting station for Chuo Line, it is strongly recommended that you transfer at this station. Because of this, trains are less crowded (really!!). JR Musashisakai Station, South Exit ( 武蔵境駅南口 ) CAUTIONS!! Flights from Los Angeles or San Francisco arrive at Haneda Airport either early in the morning (5AM) or late at night (10-11PM). If your flight arrives at night, it is highly recommended to stay at a hotel near Haneda Airport or Shinagawa Station. Please note that the last Keikyu Express Train leaves Haneda International Terminal at 12:20 AM. If you are getting off at Shinagawa or if you are not transferring at Shinagawa, you don t need to buy a connecting ticket for Keikyu Line. Taxi fares are expensive at night an additional night fee will be charged. It will cost you about 5,000 12,000 yen to go to the metropolitan area of Tokyo. If your arrival is on a weekday, trains get overcrowded in the morning (7-9AM) and evening (5-7PM) during rush hour. Try to avoid rush hour in order to maintain your safety and comfort crowds of people will even make it difficult for you to look around and ask someone for directions.
