1 September 24, 2009 Dear Mission Participant, For your convenience, we have compiled some practical information on hotels, visas and other general information for the USIBC-NEI Commercial Nuclear Mission to India, December 6-11, Please note that it is the individual responsibility of each delegate to make flight and hotel arrangements, and that each delegate must have a visa. Please also note that space constraints will require us to limit registration. If you have not already registered and intend to join, we urge you to register online today via the following link: PRE-MISSION BRIEFING We will host a Pre-Mission Briefing on November 30 at 3 p.m., at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, 1615 H Street, NW, Washington, DC. For those unable to attend the briefing in person, we can provide dial-in details. Please confirm your participation in the briefing by e- mail to Akbar Khalid, Senior Manager for Policy Advocacy at USIBC, at akhalid@uschamber.com. MISSION HOTELS USIBC has negotiated a discounted rate with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts for our stay at the Oberoi New Delhi Hotel in New Delhi and the Oberoi Trident Nariman Point Hotel in Mumbai. We are pleased to share that the discount is 45-50% below the hotels published rates and includes complimentary two-way airport transfers. We strongly recommend that delegates stay in the designated hotels, as our ground transportation for outside meetings will depart from these hotels only, and we will hold many of our meetings in the hotels banquet spaces. Please confirm your reservations before November 5 by completing both the attached confirmation forms and returning them to Ms. Meena Rewari. Note that our group discount and reservation is valid for December 6 arrival in Delhi and December 11 check-out from Mumbai. After November 5, the USIBC discount will expire and Oberoi will release our reserved blocks of rooms. We cannot guarantee that rooms at the Oberoi will be available at any rate after November 5.
