3 ATHLETIC TRAINING The Ohio Valley University athletic department would like to help make your trip to OVU as smooth and easy as possible. We would like to provide you with the best possible service during your visit to OVU. Below you will find a list of information regarding our training facilities and health services. FACILITIES: SERVICES: The athletic training room is located in the Athletic Department Building. It is through the front doors and all the way down the hallway to the left. The athletic training room for basketball, volleyball, and wrestling is located in the Snyder Activity Center. This space is limited to moist heat and ice. The athletic training room offers the following modalities: ice and moist heat. Therapeutic modalities are available for use by a Certified Athletic Trainer. PROVISIONS: At every athletic contest held at Ohio Valley University, the following will be available and/or accessible. * Ice, ice bags, water, cups * A Certified Athletic Trainer * Emergency care and transportation provided by local rescue squad, via 911 If your team is traveling without an athletic trainer or student trainer, please our head trainer Cassy Uhl at cassy.offenberger@ovu.edu and let her know of any necessary treatment. 4 TEAM PARKING For VOLLEYBALL, BASKETBALL, and WRESTLING, when travelling by BUS, we ask that you drop off your studentathletes at the Snyder Activity Center parking lot (if possible) and then park in the lower parking lot to the right of the Athletic Department Building off College Parkway. When travelling in VANS, we ask that you park in the Snyder Activity Center parking lot. There will be cones set up to designate visiting team parking spots. The physical address for the Snyder Activity Center is 69 Briscoe Road, Parkersburg, WV All visitor locker rooms are located at the Snyder Activity Center. For SOCCER and LACROSSE, parking is located directly behind the Stotts Administration building on the main campus. Please do not park near the field since the small area there will be used by game day staff and officials. For BASEBALL, parking is located at City Park in Parkersburg, WV. For SOFTBALL, parking is located at Jackson Memorial Park in Vienna, WV. If you have any questions please contact Bob Crawford, OVU Game Administrator, at (office) or (cell). From I-77 DRIVING DIRECTIONS Take the Emerson Avenue exit (Exit 179). Travel southwest on Route 68 approximately 2.8 miles to the signal at Emerson Avenue and Rosemar Road. Turn right onto Rosemar Road and continue approximately 1.2 miles (watch for signs to the university). Main Campus: To reach the Main Campus, continue on Rosemar Road approximately another.6 miles to Seminary Drive and turn left. Continue straight at the intersection with Briscoe Road (the four way stop). South Campus: To reach the South Campus, turn left onto College Parkway. Continue straight approximately.4 miles to the campus on the right. From U.S. Route 50 in WV (from the east) Take I-77 North to the Emerson Avenue exit and proceed as above. From U.S. Route 50 in Ohio (from the west) Continue straight on Ohio Routes 7 and 32 to the Memorial Bridge (a toll bridge) over the Ohio River. After crossing the bridge, go through the second light, past McDonald s, and continue straight onto Emerson Avenue. Follow Emerson to the fifth traffic light and turn left onto Rosemar Road. Continue approximately 1.2 miles (watch for signs to the university main campus). GPS Coordinates N: W: Please note that Campus View Drive may show up as "Seminary Drive" on your GPS

5 Soccer and Lacrosse Field Athletic Dept. Building- 1. Athletic Training Room is located in the Athletic Department Building 2. The OVU Softball team plays at Jackson Park. 3. The Basketball games, Volleyball games, and Wrestling matches all take place at the Snyder Activity Center. 4. Locker rooms are located in the Snyder Activity Center. 5. The Baseball team plays off campus at City Park.
