6 GENERAL INFORMTION Venue Name: SFA Soccer Complex Location: 1906 N. Wilson Dr., Nacogdoches, TX Directions to Nacogdoches: AUSTIN AREA = approximately 5 hours Take Highway 79 East to Marquez. Take Highway 7 East to Nacogdoches. DALLAS AREA = approximately 3.5 hours Take Highway 80 East to Interstate 20 East and follow I-20 to Kilgore. In Kilgore, take Highway 259 South to Nacogdoches. Highway 259 will become Highway 59 Business in Nacogdoches. (Take HWY 59 Business) HOUSTON AREA = approximately 2 1/2 hours Take Highway 59 North to Nacogdoches. Take Highway 59 Business. SAN ANTONIO AREA = approximately 5 hours Take Interstate 35 North to San Marcos. In San Marcos, take Highway 21 East through Bryan/College Station to Crockett. In Crockett, take Highway 7 East to Nacogdoches. SHREVEPORT AREA = approximately 1.5 hours Take Interstate 20 West. Take Highway 79 South to Carthage. Take Highway 59 South to Nacogdoches. Take Highway 59 Business. Directions to SFA Soccer Complex: Soccer Complex must be accessed from Wilson Drive via Starr Ave., or E. College Street from HWY 59 (North Street) or University Dr. The Varsity field is located just west of the Intramural Fields 6

7 SFA Soccer Complex: The seating capacity is approximately 400. Team benches are located on the east side of the field, with visitors on the south end. Team Bus / Van Parking: Parking of team buses/van will be available on Wilson Dr. or in adjoining parking lots. Parking will be first come-first serve. Ample parking will be available. Spectator parking will be located at the same locations. Locker Room: The visiting team locker room is located at the William R. Johnson Coliseum. Availability of dressing rooms prior to game day will depend on the availability of the facility. Locker room facilities must be requested in advance through Kelly Tarrant, If going to use the Locker Rooms, you will need to park in the lot on the south side of Johnson Coliseum that can be accessed from University Street. Do not park along College street on the north side of the Coliseum. Uniforms: Stephen F. Austin will wear white jerseys with purple numbers. Goal Keeper will wear all black with white numbers. Practices: Arrangements for a practice time should be made at least one week in advance through Paul Nagy, Assistant Coach, at Video Taping: Video platforms are available on the east side of the concourse level. SFA will provide a DVD copy at the conclusion of the match. Please contact Kelly Tarrant at Tickets: It is free admission for soccer matches. 7

9 MEDICAL INFORMATION The Stephen F. Austin Athletic Training Staff will make every effort to meet your medical needs while a guest of our University. Our staff will supply water, cups, and injury ice to all visiting teams for both practices and games. Emergency equipment will be available should the need arise. A host student athletic trainer will be assigned to your team for assistance as you deem necessary throughout the contest. Should emergency procedures be needed, your host will follow our protocol. Physicians will be either on site or available by phone for all SFA sponsored events. Should they be needed at other times, please contact our staff for assistance. Our facilities include four athletic training facilities. The primary training room is located in the field house at Homer Bryce Stadium. William R. Johnson Coliseum houses a training room: one adjacent to men s home basketball locker room. The Shelton Gym athletic training room accommodates the medical needs for volleyball and tennis. Should your team travel without an athletic trainer or need special assistance, please contact us upon your arrival.
