2 2 Welcome our new members! Atlantica Mare Village Atlantica Mare Village has recently introduced the programme Cyprus Βreakfast. The programme has been developed in the hotel based on the seasonality and locality of fresh products and a heightened sense of well -being. The hotel insists on maintaining its commitment to quality and authenticity by combining a sense of family warmth and uniqueness. Hence, the Cyprus Breakfast initiative received a warm welcome from the hotel s staff and management taken up with new and unique breakfast recipes. The hotel offers a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables from local producers. In the cold dishes section guests can find traditional cheese such as anari and halloumi and cypriot yogurts. Guests can also taste the cypriot sausage, dry fruits, local eggs and traditional sweets including rice pudding, spoon sweets, daktila and loukoumia. 2

3 3 Welcome our new members! Alion Beach Hotel The Cyprus Breakfast buffet at Alion Beach Hotel offers a variety of cypriot traditional products to start your day. Guests can taste traditional pastries such as olive pies, carob cake, flaouna, tachini pie and cheese pie. There is also a choice of traditional sweets including soutzoukos, sikopita, kidonopasto and local spoon sweets. Guests will be able to find information of all the products served at the Cyprus Breakfast corner at a booklet which will be prepared by the hotel soon. The booklet will be placed at the entrance of the restaurant and an electronic version will be posted at the hotel s info kiosk. 3

Vrissiana Beach Hotel The Cyprus Breakfast programme has successfully been implemented at the six Tsokkos Hotels and Resorts due to the enthusiastic management teams and the F&B teams. The Cyprus Breakfast corner displays a great variety of local products made with care and based on tradition. On the 25th of October 2017 the Cyprus Tourism Organisation organised in Paralimni a cooking workshop addressed to the hotels that have recently joined the programme in the area. 5 5 Gastronomia HORECA Exhibition November 2017 On 23 rd 26 th of November 2017, Gastronomia HORECA exhibition was held in Nicosia to present food and beverage and equipment for restaurants, hotels, cafeterias and catering companies. During the exhibition, a Cyprus Breakfast contest was successfully organised. The menu was based on typical Cypriot ingredients. Event at the Amathus Beach Hotel The Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) organised on the 25th of November 2017, a Thank you event for Tour Operators, airlines and other partners from Cyprus and abroad. At the Amathus Beach Hotel, where the foreign guests where accommodated, the Cyprus Breakfast was presented, giving them the opportunity to sample our unique Cyprus products. 5
