3 President s Message We ve been looking forward to spring, and here we are! For some time now organizations within the Borough of Rock Forest Saint-Élie Deauville and our staff have been hard at work developing a whole range of activities to celebrate this revitalizing season. The Borough team is putting everything in place to ensure a sun-filled, memorable summer for our youth. Once again this year the day camp season will end with the Borough s family festival on August 10 in Parc Central on Président-Kennedy Street. Please pay particular attention to the day camp registration dates listed in the pages that follow. The vitality of our community relies on the commitment of several hundred dedicated volunteers; our staff are working on organizing an event in honour of this impressive volunteer involvement. The celebration will take place at Hôtellerie Le Boulevard on Sunday, April 29. Borough council members and staff are making every effort to ensure that our surroundings are both safe and stimulating. We would like to remind you that we are here to listen to and serve our community as best we can. Citizens are welcome to attend Borough council meetings, which take place the fourth Monday of the month at 7 p.m., except for the July and December meetings that take place the first Wednesday of the month at noon. This is an opportunity for you to convey your expectations and your concerns and to share your ideas On behalf of my Borough colleagues Diane Délisle, Serge Forest and Julien Lachance and all the staff, I wish you a warm spring filled with family fun.
