2 is for campers who have completed grades 1-4. Every week there is a different fun theme. Saga includes games, crafts, bible lessons, snacks, a weekly trip, swimming, a BBQ lunch and much more.
3 If your child is not picked up from camp by 3:30 p.m. (and is not registered for after care), they will be placed in after care at a cost of 20 per day. If your child is in extended care and is not picked up by 5:30 p.m., you will be charged an extra 10 per 15 minutes to cover the extra staff costs. This camp will be run by our partner, Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church (CRPC), located at 1338 Clarkson Road North. Sports campers may only sign in/out from this location (including extended care). takes place at Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church (CRPC) and is for campers who have completed grades 2 7. It is filled with all the sports action you love. Campers do sports-related drills in the morning and scrimmages in the afternoon in order to learn and master new skills as well as improving old ones. The camp fee includes a water bottle, a weekly trip, a BBQ and sports equipment. If you are planning to register a child with special needs, please contact us well in advance so that we can work out appropriate support. In order to ensure your child s safety, please let us know by calling our office at ext. 24 if they will be late or absent on any day this summer. If your child has not attended camp before we go on a trip, they will not be permitted to participate in the trip. Please give us 3 WEEKS notice if your child will not be attending camp in order to receive a refund. Within 3 weeks of camp, no money will be refunded, although your child can transfer weeks up until 1 week before the start of camp (space permitting). New registrations will be accepted up until noon on the Thursday before the week of camp you are registering for. All our camps strive to be nut free, so please do not include nut products in your child s lunch.
4 is for campers who have completed grades 5-7. Campers participate in crazy games, a weekly trip, a weekly BBQ, bible talks, small group activities and more! All Saga Camps are run by Chartwell Baptist Church in partnership with Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church. We have been providing the local community with quality summer programs for more than ten years. Camp is run by carefully screened and selected staff who are dedicated to providing quality children s programing. is for campers who have completed Grades 1-4 is for campers who have completed Grades 5-7 is for campers who have completed Grades 2-7 is now available at both locations, Chartwell & CRPC Morning Extended Care: 7:30 9:30 am Supervised Sign-in: 9:30 10:00 am Camp Programming: 10 am 3:00 pm Supervised Sign-out: 3 3:30 pm Afternoon Extended Care: 3:30 5:30 p.m. Bagged Lunch (nut-free) Water Bottle Sunscreen Sun Hat Comfortable Shoes Optional extended care is available for all campers for an additional 100/wk or 50/wk for mornings or afternoons only. Care is led by trained staff who are focused solely on looking after these campers. Day Camp: 70/wk, (50 if you live in L5J)* Spin Camp: 70/wk, (50 if you live in L5J)* Sports Camp: 100/wk, (90 if you live in L5J) All camps have limited numbers for each week. Register early to ensure your child s space. Registration will only be confirmed once payment is received. *At Saga Summer Camps, priority is given to campers who live within the L5J postal code. This year we have decided to open registration from March 12 to all postal codes, although we are prioritizing the L5J neighbourhood through an extra discounted price. Please register early to ensure your child s space. Registration will be confirmed once payment is received.
5 Waiver Form I, (the PARENT), am the parent/legal guardian of (the CAMPER), who has my permission to attend and participate in summer camps run by Chartwell Baptist Church (CBC) located at Chartwell Baptist Church and Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church (CRPC). THE CAMPER hereby agrees to abide by the behavioral guidelines for the camp and the parent agrees that in the event that the CAMPER fails to comply with the guidelines or behaves in such a way as is likely to cause damage or injury to persons or property while at camp, the CAMPER may be sent home at the parent s expense and the parent shall be responsible for any costs incurred in rectifying any damage. I also agree to pay additional care costs if my child is not picked up by 3:30 pm, as stated in camp policies unless registered for extended care. THE PARENT hereby authorizes the administration of any first aid treatment that may be deemed necessary by any of the CBC or CRPC staff. In the event of a more serious medical emergency affecting the CAMPER, the staff shall make all reasonable efforts to contact the parent. Where attempts to contact the parent are not successful or are not feasible due to the urgency of the situation, the staff are hereby authorized to obtain the services of a licensed physician and to secure appropriate treatment for the CAMPER. The parent hereby confirms that the CAMPER is covered by OHIP or equivalent medical insurance. I GIVE THE CAMPER PERMISSION to travel to Lewis Bradley pool and all parks on foot, and to swim at these pools, over the course of the summer, as well as to travel by bus on any field trips during camp, provided I am given notice of the destination and time of the trip which will be included in the newsletter on the first day of each week of camp. In the event that the parent does not receive the weekly newsletter, it is the parent s responsibility to contact the camp to obtain a copy thereof. I authorize my child s name, date of birth, gender and postal code being given to Canadian Tire Jumpstart Foundation as part of summer camp funding they provide to keep the cost of camp down. No contact information will be given. THE PARENT AND THE CAMPER hereby acknowledge that there are inherent risks involved in the travel and other activities which comprise the camp, and voluntarily elect to assume said risks as their sole responsibility. The parent and the CAMPER hereby release Chartwell Baptist Church, Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church and their pastors, leaders, trustees, servants, agents, employees, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, damages and costs for loss, personal injury, accident, misfortune or damage to the CAMPER or his/her property while participating in events sponsored by CBC or CRPC. I HEREBY UNDERSTAND that all Saga camps are Christian camps where CAMPERS will participate in Bible lessons and/or discussions. I authorize the use of any photos taken over the duration of the camp for non-profit promotional purposes in the future. I ACKNOWLEDGE having read and understood each of the foregoing provisions and camp policies and agree to abide by the terms of this agreement, authorization and waiver.
