2 Join us on a journey of discovery as we ask What if? and hear from farmers around the world about the opportunities that abound during the Alltech Global Dairy and Beef forum in Normandy Dr. Pearse Lyons, President of Alltech ALLTECH GLOBAL DAIRY & BEEF Why? What? Where? Alltech s Global Dairy and Beef forum will be held in Deauville, France. This well-established meeting of many of the world s top dairy and beef farmers offers a unique forum and networking opportunity to talk about the challenges faced on-farm. Last year s Global Dairy and Beef event saw 760 delegates from more than 50 countries travel to Dublin, Ireland for an inspiring 2-day meeting. This year s event - one of the largest farmer meetings in the world - will continue the theme of showcasing international agriculture - but with a distinctly French flavour. The North West of France will play host to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy, the largest equine event in the world which features the World Championships of 8 equine disciplines. As title sponsor of the Games, Alltech will be devoting our large on-site pavilion at the Games to celebrating the farmer and the vital contribution farmers make on a daily basis to feeding the growing world population. Alltech s Global Dairy and Beef event is taking place at the Centre International de Deauville (CID) in Normandy, France. The Normandy region is the heart of the French ruminant industry there are more than 580,000 dairy cows on 12,500 dairy farms and more than a quarter of a million beef cattle in Normandy residing on 5,800 beef units. An impressive 17,000 people are directly employed in agriculture in Normandy. During the Global Dairy and Beef forum attendees will have the opportunity to tour many of the most efficient, profitable and sustainable farms in the region as well as travel to Paris to explore the French capital s tourist attractions.

Registration Venue: Centre International de Deauville (CID), 1 Rue Lucien Barrière, Deauville, France. Dress code: Smart attire Accommodation bookings: A variety of hotels in Deauville and the surrounding area have been secured for Alltech Global Dairy & Beef forum attendees. Your hotel rooms can be booked and paid for online as part of the event registration process. Transportation from Paris: A complimentary courtesy shuttle service will operate at certain times to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and the Deauville event hotels. Transportation between hotels and the venue: Courtesy transportation will be provided for the duration of the official programme between the event hotels and the venue. Spouse/guests: An additional programme is available for any spouses or guests accompanying Alltech Global Dairy & Beef forum attendees. How to register for the event: To pre-register for the event please contact your local Alltech office or the official online registration system which will be open in June. All attendees and their spouses or guests are responsible for their own travel costs, accommodation costs and any additional tour fees.
