Biograd Health and Tourist Centre Brief description: Development of health and tourist facilities, construction of new accomodation capacities and upgrading the existing infrastructure of Special Helath Clinic in Biograd. Bjelovar Fair Brief description: Bjelovar Fair - National Centre for Development of agricultural production and markets of agricultural products Location: Bjelovar, Bjelovar-Bilogora County Economic category: Business infrastructure Estimated project value: 10 mil Project holder: Bjelovar-Bilogora County and City of Bjelovar Bjelovar fair in Gudovec with its manifestations has become widely-known in Croatia nad abroad. The project involves the development of economic infrastructure in the area of the Bjelovar fair, which will allow the development of new and improving existing conditions for the activities of the international agricultural exhibition, the development of agricultural production and creating an organizational infrastructure requirements to assist agricultural producers in the performance of the agricultural market. The investment would be implemented in three phases and would comprise, among other: investment in existing facilities in the area of the Bjelovar fair, construction of new buildings (two new halls, storage areas for machinery, shooting - a field for a presentation), Construction of ULO cold storage for agricultural products. The later phases of investment encopass building the horse track, the construction of the necessary utility infrastructure (parking, outdoor exhibition areas, the necessary utility infrastructure and the bus stop), creating the capacity for organization and association of agricultural producers for common market and organisation of exchange of goods of agricultural products. All space, zoning, development, and economic conditions are met. Geographically the zone is located in the center of Croatia, and it is extremely well connected with the continental and coastal parts of Croatian. The area is intended for the production and industrial activity - water bottling plant (juices, teas), trade and storage, provision of services (packaging), and service activities. Required investments in the zone include: construction of roads and access roads; the construction of local water supply; construction of sewage; construction of the substation and low voltage networks; construction of public lighting; building a telephone network; landscaping. Colosseum City Park is a three storey shopping centre with 23,176 m2 nett area for lease, only two minutes away from the city of Slavonski Brod and very close to Bosnia and Hercegovina border. The land where the center is build is situated on the west side of Slavonski Brod, at a road connecting the hihway A3 on the north and the border of BiH in the south, only a few hundred meters form the centre of Slavonski Brod. This is a shopping centre with cinema, parking on three above ground levels and one underground level, with a 20,528 m2 of shopping area; 1,718 m2 of gastronomy area; 921 m2 cinema space; 5,670 m2 of mall and 1,021 of parking lots. 60% of leasable area has been already leased. Concept One World's first electric supercar Brief description: Development and production of high performance electric veichle Location: Sveta Nedjelja, Zagreb County Economic category: Industry Estimated project value: 104 million Project holder: Rimac Automobili Ltd. Concept One capable of of kph in 2,8 seconds, reaching 305 kph, with a battery capacity of 90,55 kwh and a maximum range of 600 km and 1088 hp is the world's first electric supercar. Efficiency, extremely fast response, wide power band, compact size, regenerative braking, high torque... Those are just some advantages of the new permanent magnet synchronous motor generation developed exclusively for the Concept_One. The unique powertrain is divided into four sub-systems, each consisting of one motor, inverter and reduction gearbox. Each of those systems drives one wheel, completely independent one from the other. Sophisticated ECUs control each of those systems using the input of many precise sensors placed all over the car. This architecture allows a new approach to vehicle dynamics called - All Wheel Torque Vectoring (AWTV). Each wheel can independently accelerate or decelerate hundreds of times per second, helping to achieve the desired (driver selectable) handling. Together with the very low center of gravity, extremely high torque available almost from zero RPM and the lack of shift interruptions, the Concept_One delivers a completely new driving experience. Grabovnica Airfield Brief description: Reconstruction of facilities and equipment of the airfield Grabovnica Location: City of Čazma, Bjelovar-Bilogora County Economic category: Infrastructure Estimated project value: 2.3 million Project holder: City of Čazma The project involves reconstruction of facilities and equipment of the airfield Grabovnica that will contribute to the develpment of traffic infrastructure and tourism. The airfield is situated in the immediate vicinity of the place Grabovica, 3 km east from the city of Čazma and on altitude of 144 meters. Becouse of vicinity to bigger city centres (30 kilometers to Zagreb, 30 to Bjelovar and 21 to Ivanić Grad), and an excellent road connection, this airfield is recognised as an excellent opportunity and investment. Homemade milk Brief description: Construction of mini dairy in the Business zone of Ivanec Location: City of Ivanec, Varaždin County Economic category: Agriculture Estimated project value: 2 milion Project holder: Varaždin County The project involves construction of a mini dairy in the Business zone of Ivanec with the aim to increase the competitiveness of small milk producers on the open market. The goal is also to improve domestic production and manufacturing of milk from family farms. The capacity of the dairy would be 5000 L/a day, and the product range would vaqry from the production of semi-hard fat cheese, fresh semi-fat cheese, fresh low-fat cheese to semi-skimmed fresh milk, fresh skim milk, sour cream and School milk. Matrix Tower Brief description: Construction of commercial building Matrix Tower Location: City of Zagreb Economic category: Real Estate Estimated project value: 125 milion Project holder: Matrix projekt d.o.o. za građenje i poslovanje nektretninama The construction of this business tower is planned on a very attractive location in the city centre (intersection of Savska Street and Zagreb Avenue) in the so called Avenue of Towers area which designated for future high rise business development. The construction area is around 5,500 m2 big, and the tower itself is planned to be up to 41 stories high, with complete ground plan area of app. 47,500 m2. Also, the area of 6 underground stories with parking spaces would be app. 28,000 m2, adding up to 75,500 m2. It could house a hotel of up to 330 rooms. When built to its maximum allowed dimensions, the tower will be the highest building in Croatia. This commercial building can have several functions: hotel with congress centre, aparthotel, shopping centre, office building, public purpose, sports and recreations, service purpose (restaurants) or combination of all. 11 11. Miklavija Intermodal Logistic Center Brief description: Development of the logistic center on an area of 160 ha, with the possibility of further expansion. Thanks to its position, spatial potential as well as its direct connection to European transport routes, the logistic center provides development of various entrepreneurial projects (logistics and distribution centers, production facilities, business services, transport etc.) to a wide circle of investors, especially those from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina who gravitate towards the port of Rijeka and the Rijeka transport route. Otočac Airport Brief description: Reconstruction of Otočac Airport Location: Špilničko polje, Lika-Senj County, Croatia Economic category: Infrastructure Estimated project value: 1.6 milion Project holder: City of Otočac The project involves the construction of tourist infrastructure and expanding the existing facilities of airport Otočac, meaning: construction and rennovation of the administration building with control tower and technical facilities (including procurement of necessary equipment for the building and purchase of small sports aircraft and other equipment necessary for the functioning and operation of airports in accordance with the Law on Air Traffic.); rennovation of the existing runway, access roads and parking lots etc. The newly constructed administrative building will offer the possibillity to refurbih and rent smone business premises as well. The airport is of a sports-touristic character and as such it involves development of sports activities such as flying small sport airplanes, panoramin flights, paragliding etc, as well as it influences the develpoment of other forms of active tourism such as cycling, fishing, hiking, hunting, rent-amoto, car, bike etc. In the vicinity of Gacka valley and the national park Plitvička jezera, this airport will not only prolong the season and increase the number of tourists, but it will promote this unique nature oriented destination as well. 18 18. The Ex Factory Torpedo Area Brief description: Construction of business and commercial complex and various facilities (fishing port, aquarium etc) on the second largest access to the sea. Options for creating a multifunctional center are various, for example, possibilities of accommodating fair events related to the sea, concepting a fishing port and compatible commercial and service facilities. Also, there is a need for valorization of cultural and historical components of the complex based on torpedo. In addition to the former factory complex, the commercial area also includes warehouses of 35,000m2. A part of the planned contents is already marked. It is a fishing port and a corresponding aquarium, but also a part of the portual infrastructure and superstructure. Western Žabica Complex Brief description: The construction of a closed parking space, a modern solution for the operation of passenger bus transport as well as new business and commercial facilities. Wind Power Plant Tovarnik Brief description: Construction of wind power plant in three municipalities of the Vukovar- Srijem County Location: Tovarnik-Nijemci-Tompojevci, Vukovar-Srijem County Economic category: Renewable Energy Estimated project value: 100 mil Project holder: Municipality Tovarnik Planned wind power plant Tovarnik will consist of 32 generators with a total capacity of 70 MW. The Connection will be realized by intersection 110 kw of transmission line and by construction of new substations (110/ x kw). The project will occupy the area of three municipalities in the easternmost Croatian county - Vukovar-Srijem County: Tovarnik, Nijemci and Tompojevci near the border with Serbia. The Area of future wind farm at Tovarnik, which is planned for exploitation of mineral resources, has been rated as the best among 39 similar sites in Croatia. The aim of this project is a better utilization of natural resources for tourism development, rural areas and development and restructuring of agriculture and environmental protection.
