4 Recent Work IFA Global Press Conference 2015 CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO In April 2015, 400 journalists from over 50 countries met in Malta for the IFA 2015 Global Press Conference. This was the second time the event was held on our island following the successful hosting of the event in IFA is the world s leading trade fair for consumer electronics and home appliances and takes place at Messe Berlin Exhibition Grounds every year in September. 20Twenty together with their German partner, spent months meticulously planning the 3-day programme. Delegates had the opportunity to visit The Manoel Theatre in Malta s capital, Valletta. They were greeted by the Mayor of Valletta, Chairman of Valletta 2018 and the Artistic Director of the Theater who gave a historical overview of one of Europe s oldest theatre. A star appearance of the Grandmaster of The Knights of Malta invited guests to explore his Valletta. 20Twenty positioned guides at key locations so delegates could learn about the island s rich history. In the evening, Strait Street was transformed into a private street food festival where IFA s beaming red lights lit up the once infamous red light district. Following intense days of conference sessions, meetings and activities, delegates enjoyed a gala dinner at MonteKristo Estate hosted by Malta s leading celebrity and singer, Ira Losco. A surprise visit from the famous Nena performing her 90 s hit 99 Red Balloons followed by fireworks ended the spectacular evening.

8 SBS Radio Swedish Radio Event & After-Party at a Cool Venue! SBS is the largest radio station in Sweden and our brief was to impress some of Sweden s top deejays with a cool venue and even cooler music. This was a tough challenge and our team brainstormed and came up with a first-of-its-kind event which kicked off at Malta s National Aquarium with prosecco served to guests as they entered and they could walk with their drinks along and under the aquariums. This was followed by dinner at a beautifully set-up space right next to the aquarium. The surprise came after when we organised an after-party at the adjacent Café Del Mar. We booked a new ensemble of top-notch professional musicians who have played in many prestigious concerts both in Malta as well as abroad including special occasions with renowned tenor Joseph Calleja and the renowned Italian artist Riccardo Cocciante after their spectacular performance at Expo 2000 in Germany. Their vast repertoire ranging from Jazz to Blues to their innovative DJ Brass Fusion which literally brought the house down gave us tremendous satisfaction seeing the crowd singing and dancing whilst taking selfies and snapchatting the night away.

9 South African 20 th Anniversary Gala Dinner & Braai South Africa s 20th Anniversary since Freedom This project was probably one of the most challenging because we had the theme, the location, the invitation list but no budget!!! Our task was to organize a Gala Dinner and a Braai (traditional South African barbeque) on two separate days so we had to turn the Braai into a fund-raising event by making it so attractive that we would make enough money to cover the Event and the Gala dinner for industry leaders, heads of Government, Ambassadors and guests. A Facebook page was created and we generated a lot of local interest in the barbeque event. The Braai which was held at the Tiki Village venue at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Valletta, drew so many guests that we had enough funds to fund two amazing poolside events with live jazzy South African music whilst guests enjoyed typical South African food created by two SA Master Chefs flown in specially for these two events, washed down with a variety of excellent South African wines.

10 Ground Operations with German Precision Our ground operations for cruise lines is another area we are very proud of because it puts us continuously to the test. Over the last years, we have earned the reputation for being best in class and our client list attests to this: Dealing simultaneously with safety, cleanliness, air-conditioning, P/A system checks, signage, guides, drivers, coaches, venues, sea craft, segways just before hundreds of guests start disembarking requires a very well oiled operation by experienced personnel who can be trusted to work calmly under the most trying conditions. Apart from macro-managing the operation, we also micro-manage each tour to ensure that every guest has a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience. We handle small luxury yacht-like cruise ships with only 100 pampered guests to mid-sized premium ships with guests to the larger ships that carry over 2000 guests.

11 Experience in Logistics Effortlessly transferring 400 delegates Our fine-tuned expertise in this sector allows us to deliver perfectly synchronized transfers to/from the Airport to Hotels and to/from venues. We check everything and overlook nothing to deliver a smooth and well organized transportation including shuttle service when requested. This also means ensuring parking is reserved with the local councils in busy areas which also necessitates the hiring of police and traffic wardens. We brand coaches to make them easily identifiable from the distance and also to add prominence to the Conference or Incentive. At large events, we also take the precaution of have a St. John Ambulance on stand-by outside the venue.

12 20Twenty in Creative Mode Seabourn UNESCO initiative Seabourn Cruise Line recently partnered with UNESCO to promote sustainable tourism at World Heritage sites. 20Twenty were entrusted to enhance those Seabourn tours that were being offered and create new ones to allow guests to immerse themselves in Malta s unique UNESCO sites. Using our experience in bespoke destination management we discussed the concept with the Maltese National Commission for UNESCO who gave their wholehearted endorsement following which, a meeting was held with the curators of the National Archaeological Museum in Valletta, Hagar Qim and Mnajdra Temples to the South of Malta and the Ggantija Temples on Gozo. Tours were redesigned to offer a morning visit to Hagar Qim temples with a special welcome upon arrival by the curator herself. Then they will have a tour of the visitor s centre and the site together with their guide. After, guests will drive to Valletta and visit the museum of Archeology. The curator at the Museum will arrange an exclusive exhibition which will consist of the mysterious elongated skulls which are not usually on display and the unique statue of the Goddess of Fertility and give them an explanation of these exhibits. Then guests will have time to visit the museum and Valletta, soon to be crowned 2018 European Capital of Culture. In conjunction with the board of management of St. John s Co-Cathedral, in Valletta, another UNESCO site, an evening event is also being planned which will include a sacred music recital followed by a private viewing of the world famous Caravaggio The Beheading of St. John in the Oratory. Ivan Mifsud, Managing Director of MBL 20twenty exclaims I am personally very excited about this UNESCO project because Seabourn Cruise Line is keen to make both Valletta (Malta) and Mgarr (Gozo) its showcase UNESCO ports giving the Maltese islands a unique edge over other Mediterranean destinations and also increasing awareness about our islands awesome archaeology and history.

17 How can we green your event? When possible we: 1. Choose a certified green venue with green suppliers We make a careful evaluation of venues with green practices, initiatives and suppliers that will make planning a green event an easier task. 2. Provide walking maps to and from venue We promote usage of shared transport or walking by supplying complete information on sustainable transportation to and from airport, venue and so on. 3. Ask for linen and towel reuse program during stay 4. Reduce CO2 emissions We select accommodation near to the venue, minimizing transports that apply green practices in energy and water conservation, waste minimization and online reservation. 5. Eat green by offering local and organic dishes By choosing local dishes with fresh ingredients, less carbon emissions will be discharged during transport and the local economy will be promoted. Whenever possible, and requested by client we ask catering to use bulk condiments for water, coffee, tea, milk and sugar. 6. Include corporate social responsible activities in conference program We can provide activities during conferences that support local environment actions and social entities, for example: beach cleaning or children playground refurnishing
