4 Milestones of ZSD development Part of Part of Part of Mar - Jun 2003 : Start of production for Damen Group : Achievement of European standards of efficiency and quality in ship design and engineering : Extension of own capacity (up to 44 pers.) and production mainly for Damen shipyards in market niche of small special vessels in Tribon M2/M3 CAD System : Mastering of latest developments in CAD systems for higher compatibility and flexibility in the market (Nupas- Cadmatic, Microstation, ShipConstructor, Inventor). Aug 2006 : Acquired by Aker Yards : Mastering of special building strategies and standards of Aker Yards Group : Integration into Business Area Merchant Vessels : QC system development and implementation. ISO 9001:2000 Certification : Extension of own capacity (up to 75 pers.) and appropriate training programs. Aug 2008 : AY Business Area Merchant Vessels took the name Wadan Yards. FLC West became a 70% shareholder : Foundation and development of Basic Design group : Forming of Naval Engineering Training Centre. Jan 2011 : 100% shares acquired by Zaliv-F&C Group : Extension of market niche to concept and class designs of special (fishing, seismic, etc.) vessels.
