5 Port of Hamriya - Dubai 15 million DP World Design & Build Demolition of the existing breakwater and the construction of an 820-metre concrete block quay wall of which 610 metres (with a berthing depth of 6 metres) will be for general cargo and 210 metres (with a berthing depth of 3 metres) for fishery activities. The main purpose of the quay wall is to segregate the general cargo activities from the fishery activities and to provide additional berthing space for both industries. 6 Al Dabbiya phase 3 - Abu Dhabi 70 million Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO) December September 2015 Construct only Marine infrastructure works for phase 3 of the Al Dabbiya oil field development by client ADCO. The scope of work for five offshore clusters comprises channel dredging, reclamation works, construction of a cause way, shore protection, heliport, pontoons and fences. 7 Jebel Ali, terminal 4, phase 1 - Dubai 70 million DP World BAM Infraconsult Design & Build - Lumpsum Construction of 400 metres of quay wall, as well as a 440- metres long access bridge and a 1.8-kilometres causeway to link the new terminal being built on an island of reclaimed land to the main port. Included in the contract is the installation of all quay furniture, the land reclamation to create the 17 hectares of yard and access road, and the dredging work to provide for the access channel. Construction of ancillary buildings and the installation of (high mast) lighting are also included. BAM International is assisted by BAM s of Ireland. The works are designed by BAM s engineering company BAM Infraconsult.

The EPC contract included the design and construction of an LNG jetty with approach trestle, including the mechanical, engineering and piping services, the onshore MEP works, buildings, infrastructure, landscaping and the tug jetty structures. 11 Quay wall Limbe Shipyard Cameroon 29 million Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial ing Ltd November 2012 November 2014 Design & Construct Quay wall for Limbe Shipyard, approximately 80 kilomtres north of Douala, Cameroon s main commercial city. The project comprises the construction of a 320-metre long quay wall, using 55-tons rectangular concrete blocks on an underwater concrete foundation. The water depth is twelve to eighteen metres. The Terminal will grow from a feeder port to a mature main liner facility and plays a crucial role in the Jordanian economy. BAM International

18 Rosyth Dockyard, Fife United Kingdom 45 million Babcock Marine Halcrow Design and construct Major modifications to the dockyard infrastructure allow the dockyard to accommodate the new CVF Aircraft Carriers. The scope includes widening the entrance to the dock and the direct entrance, altar modifications and dock floor widening within the dock, Goliath crane foundations and a dock floor skidding system, the provision of new external alignment and the dolphins for the direct entrance. 19 Tembusu Liquid Bulk Terminal, Jurong Island - Singapore Stolthaven Singapore Pte Ltd DMC developed a master plan for the marine facilities of the terminal and sought authority approvals on behalf of the client. After initial approvals DMC prepared the detailed design and technical specifications for the first phase of the project catering to tankers from 5,000 to 45,000dwt including LPG. DMC also supported the preparation of the ITB document and tendering process including tender evaluation and advice. After award DMC remained involved providing engineering support, supervision and submission services. BAM Infraconsult / DMC
20 Euromax Quay Wall Rotterdam, The Netherlands 60 million Port of Rotterdam 2007 A new deep water container terminal was to be developed for the Port of Rotterdam. The design was executed under a Design and Construct contract for which DMC first developed the tender design and, after contract award, performed the detailed design (fit for execution). The design of the quay wall was based on functional specifications provided by the client. The design water depth was 22 metres, the total retaining height was 27 metres. During the tender stage seven possible design concepts subdivided into approximately twenty design options were developed and evaluated. Based on criteria of economy, reliability and durability, two designs of the diaphragm wall were eventually selected and offered to the client in two separate proposals.
21 Humber Sea Terminal, North Killingholme United Kingdom 47 million Humber Sea Terminal Ltd Haskoning Design and construct Berths 1 and 2 involved building a jetty out to a pontoon and berthing pier. Berth 3 comprised a 235-metre reinforced concrete berthing jetty. Berth 4 is a roll-on-roll-off jetty including the link span. Berths 5 and 6 consist of two 200-metre berths to accommodate 35,000 tonnes RoRo vessels. BAM Nuttall
22 Industrial Port, Sohar Oman 195 million Ministry of Transport and Communications Ibn Khaldun / Halcrow Construct only Two-kilometre-long extension of the existing block wall, enabling access to the latest generation of bulk vessels. Also a 500- metre-long service berth belonged to the contract and an existing fishery harbour had to be modified to host a 300- metre-long heavy load-out jetty, mooring facilities and a boat lift, all protected by a newly constructed breakwater. 24 Cruise and Ferry Terminal, Kiel Germany 15.9 million Seehafen Kiel GmbH & Co. Design and construct Design and construct The new terminal includes a 350-metre and a 260-metrelong berth for vessels up to ten metres draught. The quay wall consists of a steel combi wall up to 50 metres deep with anchor piles. 25 Port of Blyth, Northumberland United Kingdom 3.7 million Port of Blyth Halcrow 2006 Construct only Expansion of the port facilities to accommodate increases in coal imports. The new, open piled structure accommodates coal ships up to 80,000 tonnes. It is fitted with deck furniture and eight fender units. Landward of the jetty, a concrete and block paved hard standing area was constructed with provision for M&E services and drainage. BAM Nuttall
26 Reconstruction of Malahayati Port, Aceh Indonesia 7.5 million Aceh & Nias Rehab & Reconstruct Agency Ecorys Ned bv ass with PT Diagram Triproporsi Eng Desgin and construct Construction of a berthing facility and approach trestle, the rehabilitation of the damaged buildings and reinstatement of the demolished buildings and infrastructure. The project was completed 1.5 months ahead of schedule. BAM International
27 Universal Terminal, Jurong Island Singapore Detailed Design Having previously been involved with the client at the feasibility stage DMC, as a nominated sub-contractor, was employed by the contractor to prepare the detailed design of the jetties for the project. The jetty structures comprise nine berths in total. The works further incorporated two access trestles including pipe-racks and a firewater pump platform as well as a crash barrier. The structures are built in water depths ranging from 15 to 33. Extensive use was made of pre-fabricated elements to increase quality and decrease the amount of work over water. 28 Dover, Berths 8 and 9, Kent United Kingdom 29 million Dover Harbour Board Halcrow Design and construct The main objective was to design two berths that could accommodate the 28,000- tonne, 210-metre-long ferries of the future and at the same time remain operational, regardless of any technical problems. Each berth has two articulated vehicle bridges and a pedestrian walkway connecting the land to a pair of portal dolphins. BAM Nuttall
