13 PROJECT UPDATES CT1 Vista Wharf Improvements Internal reinforced concrete pile plugs were built for all East Mooring Dolphin piles The formwork floor for the East Mooring Dolphin concrete cap was built Demolition and pile driving at the West Apron are completed. Form floor to be started this week.
14 PROJECTS UPDATES CT1 Vista Building Improvements Framing North wall for sliding doors and round windows was completed Framing of East wall is underway Framing and sheetrock for internal new walls is underway. Fire sprinkler has been completed Project completion scheduled for June
15 PROJECTS UPDATES CT1 Vista Improvements Some Wharf Deck Repairs self-performed by C & M Pavement replacement alongside of the provisions warehouse is completed Rusted bollards are being cleaned and painted
16 PROJECTS UPDATES CT2 Wharf Expansion and Mooring Improvements Phase 1B The first half of the precast concrete slabs has been fabricated The second half of the precast concrete slabs is under fabrication
17 PROJECTS UPDATES Old Port Industrial Project Rider 48 Traffic signal at Improving ingress and egress for the Port at 33 rd and Harborside Repaving from 33 rd north to Old Port Industrial Road ( OPI ) and rehabilitation at the rail crossing at 33 rd. Expansion to three traffic lanes and widening and stabilizing the existing road with new striping and signage.
18 TARIFF CIRCULAR NUMBER 6 Update the Tariff Dockage and Security Surcharge to be consistent with Gulf Seaports Marine Terminal Conference, FMC Agreement No Update Bunker Fuel Rates from $0.01 to $0.17 to be competitive Adding New Service Categories to the Tariff Line handling Harbormaster Special Vessel Services Anticipate total new tariff by Fall 2018 cleaning up old language and references

22 SECURITY UPDATES The Port Police Department is pleased to report that the Yaga s Wild Game Cook-off went off smoothly without any major problems. The Port Police Department is in the process of restructuring and has some promising candidates for security and police officers to fill vacant positions. We are studying options to replace some of the cruise detail police positions with security officers. The Port Police Department is supervising the installation of new directional signs to ease the flow of traffic off the Port on Cruise days. These signs will be along Port Industrial Blvd. from the access road to 33 rd street. The Port Police Department is trying a new system to order supplies that should streamline the process and make it more efficient. This system affects the police station, security gates, parking garage and the cruise details.
23 SECURITY UPDATES National Police Week Started May 14 th, the Chief will be attending ceremonies at the Criminal Justice Center on May 17 th. May 15 th is Police Officers Memorial Day. The flags will be flown at half-staff in honor of fallen officers in our nation. The Police Department is preparing for National Maritime Day on May 22 nd. The Port will host 150 school children from the Galveston Independent School District and Port Officers will be on scene to assist.
