3 INTRODUCTION 1. This information booklet should be used in conjunction with the Battalion Training Plan & Battalion Administration Document for Annual Camp The aim of this booklet is to provide further information in respect of Longmoor Training Camp and its facilities predominately through the use of photographs of the areas, both inside and outside of camp. ACTION 3. This will be distributed to personnel attending camp as per the following scale:- Comdt Dep Comdt Trg Major CEO Company Commanders Detachment Commanders Sports / Shooting Officer Padres RSMI Assistant Training Officers 4. Detachment Commanders are asked to ensure that those CFAV under their command are granted access to this booklet prior to camp for information and awareness. 5. Information contained within this booklet is accurate at the time of publishing (APRIL 2017) 6. This booklet will be broken down into packages 1 4, where applicable. 3

PACKAGE 1 Package 1 is the Fieldcraft package for camp and will include the Company 24 hr out of camp Field Exercise. The location for this package will be the training areas known as M1, M2 & M3.

4 PACKAGE 1 Package 1 is the Fieldcraft package for camp and will include the Company 24 hr out of camp Field Exercise. The location for this package will be the training areas known as M1, M2 & M3. This also includes Oxney Farm which is situated at GR , which will be used as the base for package 1. Features The features of this area include:- Steel clad barn (Stone Tent) which can accommodate personnel in inclement weather. (Note no beds are provided). Common sense to be exercised in relation to the numbers sleeping within. Male and Female toilet facilities Gated compound which can be secured at night. 7 PACKAGE 2 Package 2 is an in camp package which focuses on APC training and Skill at Arms. The location for this package will be mostly in camp, however use will also be made of the Urban Training Centre area, located just outside of camp. 12 PACKAGE 3 Package 3 is an in camp package which focuses on shooting and Physical Ability. The location for this package will be mostly in camp, however use will also be made of training area N2A, N2B for the Navigation element of this package. Features The features of this package include:- All activities situated close together for easy group changes All Obstacles within the course conform to a type B. PACKAGE 4 Package 4 is our Challenging Pursuits package which is based within camp. Companies will camp out during this package on a large grassed area behind the Gymnasium.

16 PACKAGE 4 Package 4 is our Challenging Pursuits package which is based within camp. Companies will camp out during this package on a large grassed area behind the Gymnasium. As part of this package cadets will spend a day at Marwell Outdoor Activity Centre where they will undertake 3 activities each over the course of the day. Features The features of this package include:- Excellent area for camping with access to toilet facilities in camp Gymnasium situated close by for Aikido Power from inside Gymnasium for Inflatable Obstacle Course Use of an external agency for Challenging Pursuits.
