Fri., 8:30am 4:30pm Ages 8 13 $165 Camp Neptune is Charlotte's original swim day camp. Each day boys & girls will have fun in the water doing activities such as wakeboarding, snorkeling, and trips to waterparks. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted in deep water. Camp Explorers Course No.: Jul. 27 through Jul. 31 Mon. Fri., 8am 5pm Ages $225 High adventure camp in the mountains of North Carolina. Whitewater rafting, high ropes tower, tubing, hiking, overnight camping are just some of the fun activities. Camp Poseidon Course No.: Aug. 17 through Aug. 21 Mon. Fri., 8am 5pm Ages $425 An overnight camp with an environmental emphasis. We will stay in dorms at the Bald Head Island Conservatory off the coast of North Carolina. Activities include: crabbing & cast netting, kayaking, turtle nest hatching, and daily beach trips. These camps are conducted by the Therapeutic Recreation Division of Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department. Therapeutic Recreation offers eight week long summer day camps which focus on a variety of activities. These camps provide participants the opportunity to experience a camp setting in an environment designed to help each camper reach their potential and have a successful experience.
