Negative contact with resident. 2/1/ :22:00 AM Indian Summer Lane Kevin Suspicous Activity Suspicious Incident RP states while she was upstairs, her kids said a teenager came to the front door and tried to open it. I responded and could not locate anyone in the area and tracks in the snow could not be followed due to the falling snow. It should be noted that numerous houses in the area had a door hanger advertising on the front door. 2/1/ :40:00 AM Burnt Leaf Way Kevin Criminal Activity Trespassing RP at the above address states a woman and small children are sledding behind their property and trespassing onto his property. I responded and contacted the RP. I could see where people were sledding in the utility easement and did go onto the RP's property approximately 10 feet. I responded and contacted the neighbor, PID He said his wife took their kids, 4, 3, and 1 up the hill in their backyard in the utility easement. He did not know they were trespassing and said they would not go onto his property again. 2/1/ :12:00 PM Top O'the Moor Drive West Kevin Assist Citizen Assist RP states a woman slid off the road near the above address. I responded and the vehicle was too deep in the ditch to attempt to pull out with the WPS vehicle. She had already called a tow truck. Her husband was on scene with his car and vehicle was not a traffic hazard. 2/1/2016 1:05:00 PM Indian Summer Lane Les Other Missing Person RP at the above address states her and her daughter had a verbal altercation and her daughter was angry and ran out of the house and ask assistance in finding her. Myself and 5W41 responded and began searching the area. Approximately 30 minutes later, I was contacted by the RP and advised that her daughter had returned home. 2/1/2016 2:31:00 PM Indian Way Kevin Assist Citizen Assist RP states they cannot got up the hill on Indian Way and Winding Hills Road. I responded and assisted towing their vehicle up the hill. 2/1/2016 4:03:00 PM Broken Fence Way Les Solicitor Complaint Solicitor Complaint RP advised of solicitors on above street heading South. I responded and contacted a mom and girl selling Girl Scout cookies. No further action taken. 2/1/2016 9:57:00 PM Fairplay Drive Justin Vehicle/Traffic Parking Complaint RP states a vehicle from the above address was partially parked in the street, making it very difficult to use the roadway. As I arrived, the RP called back and stated that the vehicle was just moved into the driveway. 2/1/ :31:00 PM Vista Verde Heights Mark Open Doors Open Door/Window While on patrol, I noticed the garage door to the above address was open. 2 2/2/2016 2:09:00 PM Chisholm Trail Kevin Assist Citizen Assist RP states someone from the above address riding a 4-wheeler plowing snow pushed the snow from the cul-de-sac, across Chisholm Trail, and in front of his mailbox completely blocking it with 4 feet of snow. I responded and observed a large amount of snow piled in front of the mailbox from a path from the above address. I attempted contact, no one home. The RP states the ATV left westbound on Chisholm. It's possible this is a plowing contractor that moved this snow and will follow up by phone with the owner at the above address. The RP cleaned the snow away from his mailbox and in front of his house. 2/2/2016 6:36:00 PM Toboggan Hill Justin Assist Citizen Contact RP called and stated that people were on toboggan hill after dark and were using headlights to illuminate the hill causing an annoyance to the homeowner. 5W46 and I responded and advised the residents who were using the hill that the common area closes at dusk. They were compliant and left the area. The Rules and Regulations sign was found damaged, as if someone had tried to pull it off of the fence. 2/2/2016 7:15:00 PM Woodmoor Drive Justin Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Hazard RP called and stated that a truck that was pulling a multi car carrier had become stuck at the above street and Top O' the Moor E. Upon arrival, the driver of the truck was being assisted by 2 County Road plow trucks. WPS provided traffic control while sand was applied to the road and the driver was pulled up the hill by County Roads. The truck was escorted out of Woodmoor by the plow trucks. 2/3/2016 8:38:00 AM Winding Meadow Way Kevin Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP states of a chow mix dog in the area west of the above address and it appears injured. I responded and contacted the RP. I advised her that I had already notified the Humane Society. She said they were going to take the dog to the Woodmoor Vet Clinic. I notified the Humane Society and advised them of the same. 2/3/2016 9:55:00 AM Top O'the Moor Drive West Kevin Criminal Activity Criminal Mischief RP states sometime between 8pm and 10pm on the 2nd, while sweeping snow off porch, she heard loud noises and peeked around the corner and saw a teenage male getting into a light colored vehicle possibly an SUV. When she went out this morning, she found her and 3 other mailboxes damaged and realized that was the noise she heard. The vehicle left Northbound on Top O' the Moor West. WPS reviewed pictures from a game camera that was in the area but did not capture a picture of the suspects or incident. 2/3/ :06:00 AM Knollwood Blvd Kevin Criminal Activity Criminal Mischief RP states he found someone tried to tear his mailbox off his post, tipped over his trashcan, and threw a bag of trash down the hill. I responded and upon further investigation found another mailbox belonging to another address, along with discarded mail. RP does not know what time this occurred. 2/3/ :10:00 AM Honeysuckle Way Kevin Criminal Activity Criminal Mischief While investigating the previous report, A mailbox and discarded mail was found on Knollwood Blvd. belong to the above address. I took the mailbox and the mail and returned it to its owner. 2/3/2016 1:05:00 PM Augusta Drive Kevin Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Accident TLFD dispatched to the above address regarding a traffic accident with injuries. Myself and 5W46 responded. It was found an SUV collided with a person plowing snow on an ATV. Injured party was transported and I stayed on scene until the investigation was complete. I took the damaged ATV to the above address as the wife went to the hospital to meet her husband. 2/3/2016 1:35:00 PM Deer Creek Road Les Vehicle/Traffic Parking Complaint RP called in reference to vehicles parked along the above road at Toboggan Hill blocking traffic. Upon my arrival, I was contacted by a parent who stated her daughter was hurt sledding and ask that I call for an ambulance. I called EPSO dispatch to request medical. I then began to try to contact drivers who were parked along the roadway blocking traffic. A short time later, one of the drivers advised she had crashed her car into another while moving it and wanted to know what to do. I advised her to cold report the incident to CSP online. 2/3/2016 4:55:00 PM Sherwood Glen North Les Alarm Alarm RP called stated her alarm was going off and ask I check her residence. I responded and check the residence which was code 4. 2/3/2016 5:20:00 PM Augusta Drive Justin Assist Citizen Assist While patrolling on the above street at Furrow Road, I found a vehicle had slid off of the road and into a large ditch. The occupant was waiting outside of the vehicle and was not injured. The occupant stated that he did not need any assistance and that his father would be there in a few minutes to get the vehicle towed out. I checked back with the occupant a few minutes later and he said a tow truck was en-route to pull the vehicle out. 2/3/2016 5:54:00 PM Woodmoor Drive Justin Assist Citizen Assist RP called and stated that a vehicle was off of the road in front of the Lewis Palmer Middle School and may have been involved in an accident. I arrived and found a stuck vehicle with 2 other vehicles on scene to assist the driver. I helped push the vehicle out of the snow and provide traffic control while the vehicle left the area. 3 2/3/2016 6:38:00 PM Deer Creek Road Justin Criminal Activity Harassment RP called and stated that her ex husband has been harassing and threatening her through phone calls and text messages. RP stated that she had already reported the incident to EPSO and will be filling a restraining order in the morning. RP would like WPS to conduct drive by checks of her residence during the filing process as she is afraid the incident may escalate. PID 5220 is the suspect and is described as being a W/M 6'2" and 250 lbs. with short dark hair. He drives VID RP drives VID 2546 and her roommate drives VID 2548 (which is usually parked in front of the residence). RP states that PID 5220 is wanted by police and may become hostile if contacted. RP usually works late nights, and doesn't come home until after 0000 hours most days. A vacation check has been started for the above address with drive by checks until further notice. 2/3/ :48:00 PM Shadow Mountain Drive Justin Assist Citizen Contact RP from the above street called and wanted to know who was responsible for clearing the streets of snow. I advised the RP that the El Paso County DOT was responsible. RP said they may have caused damage and his driveway is impassable because several feet of snow was piled up in front of it. I advised the RP that once I return to the office, I could provide him with the complaint/damage reporting number for County roads. Follow up: at 22:48 hours, I attempted to follow up with the resident but had to leave a phone message. I left a message with the phone number to County Roads as requested by the resident. 2/4/2016 6:58:00 AM Harness Way Kevin Suspicous Activity Suspicious Vehicle RP states a white Subaru WRX pulled up near his mailbox and sat there for a few minutes. I responded and found the vehicle on Fairplay Drive. The driver of VID 2553 is a temporary paper delivery person that is trying to find addresses. 2/4/ :47:00 AM Lone Horn Point Kevin Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Accident RP states a vehicle with an expired temporary tag slid off the road, hit a mailbox and driveway light, and is stuck and unoccupied. I responded and while talking to the RP, a neighbor came over and said it occurred last night and State Patrol investigated. He then gave the RP the information from State Patrol. 2/4/ :38:00 PM White Fawn Drive Mark Open Doors Open Door/Window RP states that the garage door to the above address had been open. I responded and contacted the owner who closed the door. 2/5/2016 9:40:00 AM Regatta Lane Chad Vehicle/Traffic Parking Complaint RP, PID 5221 stated that VID 2549 was parked in the lanes of traffic and was concerned that an emergency vehicle would not be able to pass through. I responded and found the vehicle just before the end of the cul-de-sac. The vehicle was on the side of the road and not creating a traffic hazard. I contacted the RP back and informed her on what I found. 2/5/2016 3:02:00 PM Indian Summer Lane Chad Alarm Alarm RP, PID 5223 called and stated that her alarm was going off and the alarm company said the upper back sliding door sensor was activated. Myself and 5W44 checking the house and it was code 4. The door reported was unlocked but a screen on the inside was locked. The steps leading to the deck and the deck had no footprints in the snow. Unknown why the alarm was activated. 2/5/2016 4:00:00 PM Saint Andrews Drive Art Vehicle/Traffic Parking Complaint RP reported a tan sedan parked in the roadway, facing the wrong way, blocking traffic lanes. I contacted the caregiver at the above address and the vehicle was moved to the driveway. 2/5/2016 5:50:00 PM Deer Creek Road Art Alarm Alarm TLFD and WPS received an emergency page concerning a fire alarm at the above location. False alarm due to faulty alarm panel. 2/5/2016 6:38:00 PM Highway 105 Karl Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Accident TLFD dispatched to Hwy 105 and Furrow road for a traffic accident. Upon arrival, FD found no injuries and vehicle was clear of the roadway. FD then cleared the scene. I contacted the driver and her father and advised them to notify WPS for traffic control when the wrecker arrived. Follow-Up: 02/05/16, 19:52 hours: While in the area I observed the wrecker arrive and myself and 5W44 provided traffic control until the wrecker cleared at 20:16 hours. 2/5/2016 8:58:00 PM Toboggan Hill Karl Juvenile Complaints Juvenile Complaint While on patrol, I found numerous children, ranging from very young to mid teens, sledding at the above location. I contacted a father of a few kids and advised him the common areas were closed after dark. He said he would contact his wife to help transport the kids. She arrived and left the area without incident. 2/5/ :50:00 PM Woodmoor Center Karl Assist Citizen Assist While on patrol, I found a vehicle stuck in the snow on the south exit from the above location. Myself and an employee of PPBC were able to push the car out of the snow. 2/6/ :08:00 AM Augusta Drive Karl Assist Citizen Assist RP, PID 5222, reports two vehicles stuck in the snow in front of the above address. On arrival, myself and two other people were able to push one vehicle out of the snow. The other vehicle had slid off the driveway and could not be pulled/pushed out. The owner stated he would contact a tow company tomorrow and have the vehicle removed. 2/6/2016 3:11:00 AM Timber Run Heights Dennis Open Doors Open Door/Window Garage door found open at the above address. 4 2/6/ :09:00 AM Pebble Beach Way Chad Assist Citizen Assist RP stated that a padlock on a trailer would not open and asked if we had bolt cutters. I borrowed bolt cutters from the FD and contacted the RP. She advised the lock was frozen and was able to unlock the lock. Bolt cutters returned to the FD. 2/6/2016 8:25:00 PM Doewood Drive Karl Vehicle/Traffic Abandoned Vehicle While on patrol, I noticed VID 2550 sitting unoccupied at the stop sign at the intersection of Plowman Place and Doewood Drive in the lane of traffic. I contacted EPSO which will find registered owner or tag it as abandoned. Investigation continues by EPSO. Follow up: 02/07/16, 00:08 hours: Vehicle was moved into the driveway at the above address. 2/7/ :11:00 AM Outrider Way Karl Assist Citizen Assist While on patrol I found a vehicle had slid off the road and was stuck in the snow. I was able to pull the vehicle out without incident. 2/7/ :21:00 AM Burning Bush Point Dennis Open Doors Open Door/Window While in the area, I found the garage door open at the above address. Negative contact with resident. 2/7/2016 2:35:00 AM Bend in the Trail Road Dennis Suspicous Activity Suspicious Person While in the area, I found VID 2551 parked on the side of the road. As I approached, I observed the vehicle was occupied with a male and female. I contacted PID 5224 and a female in the back seat. I told them to get dressed and vacate the area, which they did without incident. 2/7/2016 1:15:00 PM Four Winds Way Art Criminal Activity Criminal Mischief RP, PID 5225 reports that his residence was egged overnight and it appears to be juvenile related. EPSO was notified and is investigating. RP's daughter is having on going issues with an ex-boyfriend. 2/7/2016 6:05:00 PM Portland Road Karl Open Doors Open Door/Window While checking the above location, I found the living room sliding glass door was unlocked, there were no other foot prints in the snow than mine. I contacted the owner who gave me the access code for the garage. I made entry with the homeowner on the phone and was able to secure the door and exit via the garage door. 2/7/2016 6:35:00 PM Tam O'Shanter Way Karl Alarm Alarm While checking the above address, the sliding glass door on the basement level tilted enough to set off the alarm when I pulled on the door handle. When the alarm company called, I explained the situation. Code 4. 2/7/2016 7:00:00 PM Winding Hills Road Karl Animal Complaint Animal Complaint While on patrol I found a dog wandering in the middle of the road near 770 Winding Hills Rd. I knew the dog and called it to me and returned it to the owner at the above address. No further action taken. 2/7/2016 9:04:00 PM Robin Hood Way Karl Assist Assist Other Agency-Medical Assisted on a medical on the above street. 2/7/2016 9:18:00 PM Augusta Drive Karl Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP, PID 5226 reports seeing a small to medium sized black dog in the roadway of the above street near Furrow Road. Upon arrival, I did not see any loose dogs. Attempted contact with resident, no answer. 2/8/ :19:00 AM Saint Andrews Drive Chad Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP, PID 5227 reported a man was walking his dog off its leash north of his address. I responded and at first could not locate the individual but observed him when I found the semi-truck stuck on Thunderbird Trail (see next report). I did not see where the suspect went and called the RP and advised to notify WPS if he sees the man again. 2/8/ :27:00 AM Thunderbird Trail Chad Assist Citizen Assist While on a previous call, I noticed a Semi with a flat bed trailer stuck in front of the above address. The truck was attempting to turn around after delivering roofing materials and had became stuck. I responded and could hear the dog under the deck but was not visible. The dog was not barking and creating a nuisance. Attempted to contact the homeowner, no answer to the door. 2/8/2016 5:10:00 PM Misty Morning Drive Art Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Unfounded RP states of a barking dog in the backyard at the above address. I responded and staged and no barking was heard. While there, the owner exited the house and inquired concerning my presence. The owner was informed that a dog in her backyard was reported barking. The owner stated that the dogs were inside now and they would get a bark collar for her son's black dog. 2/9/ :33:00 PM Greenwood Drive Mark Assist Assist Other Agency-Medical Assisted on a medical call. 2/10/ :32:00 AM White Fawn Drive Kevin Assist Assist Other Agency-Fire TLFD dispatched to the above address reference a C02 sensor activation. I responded and contacted the owner. They were having the carpets cleaned setting off the alarm. FD arrived and said they would like to check the house anyway. 2/10/2016 2:26:00 PM Woodmoor Drive Les Suspicous Activity Suspicious Person RP states of a heavy set male walking southbound on Woodmoor Drive carrying 2 packages seemed suspicious. I responded and contacted the individual in front of the above location. He said he was walking to the post office as his car was broke down and needed to get these items mailed. 2/10/2016 2:45:00 PM South Park Drive Kevin Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Unfounded RP states a dog from the above address was whimpering. I responded and never heard a dog bark or whimper. 2/10/2016 3:06:00 PM Fairplay Drive Kevin Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Hazard RP states of a large "Estate Sale" sign blocks the view of west bound traffic when trying to turn on Hwy 105. I responded and removed the sign. 2/11/2016 2:26:00 AM Doewood Drive Mark Suspicous Activity Suspicious Vehicle RP states a vehicle was parked off side of the road by County Lind Rd. and Doewood with the parking lights on. I responded and contacted the driver of VID He pulled off side of the road taking a short nap. He left the area after our contact. 2/11/2016 6:57:00 AM Doewood Drive Kevin Animal Complaint Wild Animal Complaint RP states of a dead bobcat in the street in front of the above address. I responded and contacted DOW. They advised they did not want it and to dispose of the cat which I did. 2/11/ :11:00 PM Merry Men Circle Kevin Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP states the yellow lab at the above address keeps coming off the property and is very aggressive. I responded, walked in front of the house a few times and I never saw the dog. 2/11/2016 8:49:00 PM Saint Andrews Drive Les Alarm Alarm RP states he was notified by an alarm company for an activation at his neighbors at the above address. Upon my arrival, I contacted the homeowners who said they accidentally set the alarm off and every thing was ok. 2/12/2016 8:29:00 AM Misty Morning Drive Kevin Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Unfounded RP states 2 Corgies are in the backyard barking constantly. I responded and never heard any dogs bark. 2/12/ :50:00 AM South Park Drive Kevin Alarm Alarm Alarm Company states of a general burglar alarm at the above address. I responded and the house was secure, code 4. Unknown reason for activation. 2/12/2016 3:25:00 PM Wildwood Way Les Assist Assist Other Agency-Utility While checking the above address, I observed water leaking from the main water line to the residence. I notified Woodmoor Water and left a message on the homeowner's cell phone. 2/12/2016 6:50:00 PM Winding Meadow Way Les Vehicle/Traffic Parking Complaint RP advised several vehicles were parked along the cul-de-sac and could be a traffic hazard. Upon my arrival I contacted the homeowner at above address and ask that two vehicles at the end of the cul-de-sac be moved. They said they would move the vehicles. 2/13/ :01:00 AM Walters Point Mark Open Doors Open Door/Window While on patrol, I noticed the garage door at the above address was open. Negative contact with resident. 2/13/2016 8:14:00 PM Magic Lamp Way Art Noise Complaint Noise complaint RP states the resident at the above address had their music up too loud. I responded and contacted the resident and the music was turned down. 2/13/ :01:00 PM Deer Creek Road Dennis Open Doors Open Door/Window While on patrol, I found the garage door open at the above address. 6 2/14/ :58:00 AM Sloan Lane Karl Open Doors Open Door/Window While on patrol, I found the garage door open at the above address. Attempted contact with resident, negative contact. 2/14/2016 8:45:00 AM Woodmoor Drive Chad Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP, PID 5230 states a black dog is in her back yard and would not leave and she could not get close enough to read the tags. She said that the same dog has come to her house before. I responded and attempted to approach the dog but the dog started barking at me. It was a black dog with white markings on its chest, red electric fence, and another collar with several tags on it. As I backed away, the dog advanced toward me in an aggressive manner. Once I was away from the dog I parked across the street in the church parking lot in an attempt to watch the dog and try and find out where it lives. I was able to follow the dog until it went behind 1590 Burning Oak where I lost sight of the dog. I advised the home owner of what happened and asked her to call us if the dog returns. 2/14/2016 9:17:00 AM Autumn Way Chad Assist Assist Other Agency-Medical Assisted TLFD on a medical 2/14/2016 9:08:00 PM King Arthur's Knoll Karl Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Hazard RP, PID 5228, states someone placed numerous traffic cones across King Arthur's Knoll and Lincoln Green Lane. I responded and found 6 cones/pylons across the street blocking traffic. 5W44 didn't know of any utility issues and I saw no evidence of water main break or utility problem for the road to be closed. Negative contact with resident. 2/15/2016 6:05:00 AM Scrub Oak Circle Dennis Assist Assist Other Agency-Fire TLFD paged to the above location regarding a gas leak. When I arrived, FD was clearing the scene. 2/15/2016 8:12:00 AM Saint Andrews Drive Chad Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP states a man is walking a dog without a leash on Saint Andrews Drive. I responded and found PID 5232 on Thunderbird Trail. I advised him the county requires dogs to be on a leash when off private property. He said he would have the dog on a leash from now on when he walks on the roads. 2/15/2016 8:33:00 AM Knollwood Blvd Chad Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Unfounded RP, PID 5229 states last night two dogs from the above address were barking and whining like they were cold and wanted inside and is concerned for their safety. Negative contact with resident. 2/16/2016 1:32:00 PM Riverglen Lane Chad Suspicous Activity Suspicious Incident RP, PID 5231 left a message for a vacation check and was concerned about a contractor that had been in her house recently. I called the RP and she said while she's gone her two adult children will staying at the house at night. After checking inside, she found several objects on a stand had been knocked down in the basement. RP stated that nothing was found missing and requests WPS do drive bys for several days. 2/22/2016 6:35:00 AM White Fawn Drive Karl Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP, PID 5235, states the dog named Lilly, from the above address came off it's property and attacked her dog. An unknown male assisted in breaking up the confrontation and returned the dog to it's owner. I met the RP on Shadowood Drive and she stated that her dog was not injured in the confrontation, but this has happened numerous times in the past. I advised that since we didn't witness the event and without the name of the witness, we couldn't issue a violation notice. I advised her to contact the Humane Society and file a complaint with the animal law enforcement unit. I responded to the above address and contacted the dog's owner, PID She said she is aware of the complaint and they will be installing a fence to contain their dog. I responded and the vehicle had left the area.
