Security Officer reported that the driver of a truck hit the barrier at the gate damaging it. Both persons were taken to the Mona Police Station. The incident was reported to the Campus Security Base /11/ /1/2010 Main Library Motor vehicle Breakin Security Officer received report from a female that she parked her Silver Nissan Serena motor car at the Main Library Parking Lot at about 6:20 p.m. Upon her return to the vehicle at 8:00 p.m. she discovered that her pivot window was broken and two bags that she had in the vehicle were missing /2/2010 1/11/2010 1/11/2010 3:00 p.m. 2/11/2010 1:13 p.m. Along Nassau and Ring Road Vicinity of the Faculty of Humanities Traffic Offence Trespassing Disobeying the One Way Begging that a man was observed breaking the One Way along the Ring Road. Security Officer received report from a student that a man was seen begging in the area. It was also reported that the man started to behave in a disrespectful manner as he was not getting anything. He was intercepted and informed of the offence. Campus Security Responded and the man who gave his name and was escorted off the Campus.

Security Officer reported that a man was seen riding his motor cycle contrary to the One Way sign. s were taken from both drivers. He was intercepted and informed of the offence. He was also issued with a Warning Notice. 11/3/ Source: Sheets 3/11/2010 4:00 p.m. Mary Seacole Hall Dispute Campus Police Officer received report from a female that her friend had borrowed some clothes and a jump drive from her and had refused to return same. The matter was refered to the Hall Manager who spoke with them. She eventually some of the items of clothing.

When she returned she discovered that the laptop was missing. Security Officer received report from a female that she was attacked by her ex-boyfriend. The matter was reported at the Mona Police Station. Investigations continues. Both students were taken to the Mona Police Post where the incident was reported /11/2010 5:20 p.m. 9/11/2010 5:10 p.m. Road between Mary Seacole & Main Car Park Suspicious Person 10/11/2010 3:35 p.m. 11/10/2010 Main Car Park Unsecured Assets man in a Gold Toyota Mark 2 motor car was observed acting suspiciously. He was approached by the Security Officer stationed at the Main Car Park and questioned. The man then left the vehicle with books pretending to be a student. Upon realizing that he was been watched he returned to the vehicle and sped off. Silver BMW was seen with its' rear right window open. The vehicle was intercepted at Queens Gate and he was escorted to the Mona Police Station on grounds of reasonable suspicion where he was further questioned by Commander Murdock. The Security Officer on duty at the location was notified /11/ :10 a.m. 11/10/2010 Biotechnology Parking Lot Vehicle Clamped that the driver of a Green Nissan Bluebird motor car parked her vehicle in the driveway in a manner that it was obstructing traffic. The Response Unit was called and the vehicle clamped.

4 /11/ :15 p.m. 11/11/2010 Main Car Park UWI MONA CAMPUS WEEKLY SECURITY ACTIVITY LOG (Period November 7 to 13, 2010) Unsecured Assets White Honda Civic motor car was seen with its' front left window down.books, umbrella and Gate Pass was seen on the seat. The Security Officer on duty at the location was notified.

Security Officer reported that the driver of a Silver Mitsubishi pick-up l reversed into the back of a light Blue Honda motor car damaging the vehicle. that a White Nissan Bluebird was seen with its' front left window open. that a Red Ford Aerostar motor truck was seen with all its' windows open. Campus Police Officer recived report from a man that he had parked his White Nissan Sunny motor car at Cardi Parking Lot and left for class. On his return he found that his vehicle was broken into and that the battery was stolen. that a Gold Toyota Camry was seen with its' rear right window open. The owner was contacted and asked to secure the vehicle. The driver of the Mitsubishi accepted responsibility for the damage. Efforts to contact the driver proved futile. The vehicle was secured and an Advisory notice placed on the vehicle. The Security Officer on duty at the location was advised and the vehicle secured. The Mona Police & the Director of Security was informed. The matter is being investigated by S/Cpl. of the Mona Police Post. The Security Officer on duty at the location was notified. An Advisory was left in the vehicle.

Security Officer received report that a man and his girlfriend got into a fight. She was hit over her left eye. The vehicle was secured by the Officer. The owner was contacted and asked to secure the vehicle. The accident was reported at the Mona Police Post. The matter was reported to the Mona Police. She did not wish to press charges.

Sgt. received report from a female that while she was coming out of the car park in her Blue Daewood motor car l when she was hit by a Honda Fit motor car. Security Officer reported that a man was seen driving in a direction contrary to the one way sign. Both parties was sent to the Mona Police Post to report the accident. He was intercepted and taken to the Mona Police Station where he was ticketed, warned and released /24/ /24/ /11/2010 2:50 p.m. 24/11/2010 4:48 p.m. 11/24/ /24/2010 Mona School of Business Simple Larceny Laptop Management Studies Car Park Unsecured Assets Ring Road, vicinity of Juici Patties Obstruction of Traffic Blocked Roadway Security Officer received report from a female that her laptop was stolen from the Fountain area. She reported that she was sitting at the area with 3 other students, then she got up left the laptop and went to class. When she returned she discovered the laptop was missing. Navy Blue Toyota Corolla was seen with its' rear left window open. Security Officer reported that a man, a U- Tech student took a barrier and blocked the Ring Road in the vicinity of Juici Patties. The matter was reported at the Mona Police Post. Efforts to contact the owner proved futile. The Officer on duty at the location was notified. He was taken to the Mona Police Post where he reported that he just felt idle /11/2010 6:47 p.m. 11/25/2010 UWISON 25/11/2010 7:30 p.m. 11/25/2010 Commissory Block A, Taylor Hall Simple Larceny Threat UWI Student Security Officer received report that an electronic air freshner was discovered missing from the male bathroom. Spl. Sgt. reported that a UWI student was threatened by a female who said that she was going to kill him. The accused was warned not to carry out the threat. Mediation was also done.

Sgt. reported that while Integrated Thursday's was in session an altercation developed and guns were allegedly drawn. The suspects were detained on reasonable suspicion of possession of firearm. Both suspects were taken to the Half Way Tree Police Station for questioning /26/ /11/ :00 a.m. 11/26/2010 SCR Car Park 11/26/2010 Main Library Parking Lot Accident Unsecured Asset Security Officer reported that the driver of a Grey Rav 4 hit a Black Prado motor van. Grey Toyota Corolla motor car was seen with its' front right and rear left window window open. Both drivers exchanged details & documents. Efforts to contact the owner proved futile. An Advisory was left in the vehicle. The vehicle was secured by the Officer /11/ :10 p.m. 11/26/2010 Rex Nettleford Hall Power Outage Explosion of Power Lines Zone Chief received report from a man that a loud explosion was heard on the Hall. Upon inspection it was discovered that the powerline overlooking the eastern side of the campus had exploded leaving that section of the campus without light. The generator chipped in. The power however could cover only sections of the Hall. Security Officers were deployed to patrol the Hall. 27/11/2010 5:30 p.m Source: Sheets 11/27/2010 Dept. of Geology Car Park Unsecured Asset Blue Toyota Yaris motor car was seen with its' rear left window open. A Jansport bag Checks to contact the driver proved futile. and books were seen on the seat. The vehicle was secured by the Officer.

Efforts to contact the driver proved futile. The vehicle was secured. The Security Officer on duty at the location was notified /30/ /11/ :05 a.m. 11/29/2010 Entrance to Chancellor Hall 11/30/2010 Behind the Book Shop 30/11/2010 3:25 p.m. 11/30/2010 Faculty of Education Breach of Security Accident Riding Bike on Walkway Zone Chief received report that on 2 separate occassions the Hall Chair allowed access to his visitors after visiting hours despite been told by the Security Officer on duty that visitors are not allowed Unauthorized Entry on the Hall after visiting hours. Injury to Person Security Officer received report that an employee of the Maintenance Dept. fell off a ladder while trying to open the shutters to the building. n employee of the Dept. rode his Silver coloured Honda motor bike in the passage way. The matter was reported to the Campus Security Base. He was taken to the UHWI for treatment by the Response Team. He was informed not to do so and to remove the bike, he refused. The matter was reported to the Director of Security /11/2010 6:42 p.m. 11/30/2010 A. Z. Preston Main Gate 1/12/ :00 a.m. 12/1/2010 Aqueduct Flats Parking Lot 8:45 a.m. 12/2/2010 Main Car Park Accident Unsecured Asset Animal caught in trap Security Officer reported that the driver of a Brown Honda Accord motor car ran into a Black Rav 4 motor van. Silver Mitsubishi Galant motor car was seen with its' front left window open. Security Officer reported that a dog was caught in the trap that was set since Monday November 29, 2010 and had not yet been removed. Efforts to contact the driver proved futile. The vehicle was secured and an Advisory issued. Zone Chief was informed. The dog was picked up by the JSPCA at 10:58 a.m. on the

Car Park 11/29/2010 J.N.B.S. Car Park Alleged Larceny of motor vehicle Return of Alleged Stolen motor vehicle Security Officer received report from a female that she parked her Blue Suzuki Alto motor car at the Parking Lot and left. When she returned she discovered that the vehicle was missing. Security Officer received report from a man who washes car at the Maintenance Dept. that he removed a Suzuki Alto motor vehicle to wash the vehicle as he was hired to do. After washing the vehicle he returned it to the location. The matter was reported to the Mona Police. A search was of the Campus was carried out for the vehicle. The Response Team and the Mona Police were informed. Investigations continues /2/ :45-1:00 p.m. UWI Health Centre Parking Lot Break-in Security Officer received report from a man that he parked his White Toyota motor car at the Parking Lot and left. When he returned he discovered that the vehicle was broken into. Nothing was stolen. He had locked the steering wheel. A report was made :11 pm. 12/2/2010 Assembly Hall Car Park Attempted Larceny of motor vehicle Security Officer received report from a female that she parked her White Toyota Corolla motor car at the Parking Lot and went to work. When she returned to the vehicle she discovered that the handle and lock of the right driver door was dismantled. A report was taken. The vehicle was taken to the Mona Police Post. Investigations continues.

11 (Period November 28 to December 4, 2010) of Activity Location Category Sub-Category /Activity Summary Action Taken :55 p.m. 3/12/2010 9:00 a.m. btwn. 6 & 8 p.m. Main Car Park 12/3/2010 Mona Back Gate Alleged Break-in & Larceny from Other Security Officer received report from a female that she parked her Grey Toyota Corolla motor car at the Parking Lot at about 6:00 p.m. and went to class. She then returned to her vehicle at about 8:00 p.m. and left the Campus without noticing that her vehicle had been broken into. She noticed this when she got to the Portmore Toll Booth. She reported that a laptop notebook, her handbag with $22,000, her drivers licence, debit cards and credit cards were stolen. Security Officer reported that a man was seen throwing what seemed to be human waste into the water canal. A report was taken from her. A report was made at the Mona Police Post /12/ :04 p.m. 12/3/2010 Along Mona Road Accident Security Officer reported that the driver of a Grey Nissan motor car was travelling along Mona Road from August Town when the vehicle lost control and crashed into the fencing of the UWI Campus. A report was made to the Campus Security Base /12/2010 9:00 p.m. 12/3/ College Close Burglary and Larceny Security Supervisor reported that residence 7 College Close, College Commons, was broken into and several appliances and other items were stolen. It is reported that the occupant returned home at 9:00 p.m. and saw silhouettes of two men inside. The Police was summoned and the men fled. It is alleged that one of the men was armed. The entire area was searched but the men were not found. The Scene of Crimes Unit processed the scene. Investigations continues.

The handbag contained a purse which had debit cards, US and British curreny and J$5000. Security Supervisor received report that two Security Officers who were posted at 7 College Close to preserve a crime scene had admitted to disturbing items in the house. A report was made to the Campus Security Manager.
