2 Outline of the programme The main target of this week is to let students work in mixed international groups on a subject that interests them, which makes them think and communicate in another language. In this way students with as main subject Business Management broaden their practical knowledge of languages and culture. Students participate in a banking simulation. The students are split up into different groups. A set of 4-5 groups compete with each other within the same market. Each bank has to define its objectives and make decisions to reach those objectives. At certain regular points in time the coach gives the students an update of the market situation so that the students are able to make decisions for the following period. We form groups of people with different nationalities. The more nationalities involved, the more interesting it will be for the students. At the end of the week the groups give a presentation within their market of the work they have achieved. Students are evaluated on their results and presentation skills. Crew The crew consist out of three students of UC Leuven - Limburg. They will contact your students to give them information prior to arrival: e.g. information about the youth hostel, train schedules, bus services, dress code for dinner and comfortable clothing for the sports activity Contact will be taken after formal registration by the foreign students. The guest students should be stimulated to reply to the mails of the crew.

4 Presentation partner institutions and reception It is the tradition that students of the participating institutions bring some food and drinks that are typical for their country. These are shared during the reception with the other participants. Ice skating Don't forget to bring your gloves! A visit to the ice skating rink is organized to give you that well deserved break in between workshops. Guest lectures During the week, we organize 3 guest lectures about different financial and actual topics. Company visit We visit the brewery of AB Inbev in Leuven. Gala dinner with music and dance To celebrate our Business Week - Finance, a gala dinner with music is organized. So bring your gala outfit, polish your dancing shoes and practice your moves for this unique event.

Accommodation Students will be accommodated in Youth hostel Blauwput. Rooms are for people with shared bathrooms. The management of the hostel arranges students in each room. Bed linen is provided, students bring their own towels. Students can book an accommodation in another youth hostel of hotel if they want.
