2 1 TREASURE project meeting. Castelldefels February 3rd 5th 2016 INTRO This document contains some key information for the TREASURE project partners attending the meeting. Also at the end of this document, you can find the final meeting agenda. We hope the information provided below will cover all the practical issues you might find during the meeting. However, should you have any further doubt or comment, please do not hesitate to contact Elsa Varela: / HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL Barcelona airport has two terminals: T1 and T2. Most of you will probably arrive to terminal T1. The fastest way to get from the airport to Castelldefels is by taxi. It will take you 15 minutes and cost you around You can also take bus L99 at T1. It departs every 30 minutes and it will take you a 45 minute ride to get to Castelldefels train station. Finally, you can also take the train. The train station is located in terminal T2. Hence, you should get the free shuttle that connects T1 with T2. At T2 you should get the train (there is only one train line that gets to the airport, so there is no room for mistakes : ) and change train at the first stop, El Prat de LLobregat. There you should get another train that will take you to Castelldefels. Trains depart from the airport every 30 minutes and the whole trip will last for 30 minutes. One way ticket costs 4,1 and you can pay either with cash or credit card. Castelldefels February 3rd 5th 2016 HOW TO GET FROM THE HOTEL TO THE MEETING VENUE The project meeting will take place at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, at the Agriculture faculty (ESAB). The address is: C/ Esteve Terrades 8. Chema Gil, head of CREDA, will accompany these partners hosted at the hotel Canal Olimpic to the venue on the 3 rd of February to show you the way. He will wait for you at the hotel lobby at 8.00 am. We will have some signs at the university lobby to show you the way. Wi Fi at the University is provided for free. You should look for the wifi provider xsf upc ( UPCxarxa sense fils ) and register with a guest profile ( convidats ). Furthermore, these of you working with an eduroam network, will have automatic access through the eduroam portal at the University. Coffee, tea, water, juices and some snacks will be provided by CREDA to the partners during coffee breaks (see the agenda at the end of this document) Lunches will be served at the University canteen, where they have different menu options that include two courses plus a dessert. Each partner should cover his/her own lunch expenses. The menu price is 7.55.

6 5 TREASURE project meeting. Castelldefels February 3rd 5th 2016 THURSDAY DINNER On Thursday CREDA is offering to the partners a project dinner in a restaurant by the sea in Castelldefels beach. It will consist on a series of appetizers, a main course, dessert and coffee/tea. Each partners is requested to let us know what would be the main course of his/her choice at this doodle poll: Should you have any special dietary requirements (e.g. gluten intolerance, vegetarian, vegan, allergies), please mark the appropriate option in the poll and we will contact you to offer you some suitable menu alternative. The dinner restaurant is called El Péndulo. Dinner will be served at This will give us the opportunity to go for a stroll near the sea before dinner.
